When I moved to California I had to choose a doctor from a book. Man did I get lucky. I’ve been going to Dr. Nguyen for 10 years and he has been stellar every step of the way. He has been patient and kind, as well as referring wonderful specialists. I had a worrisome mole that ended up being melanoma and he not only referred a great dermatologist but followed up with me to make sure I was ok, didn’t have questions or concerns. 5 stars!

The Mr. is not a fan of doctor’s visits. I think it’s the fear of another man probing his nether regions. So, on this last visit to the doc, I headed into the doc’s office with my Mr. to provide some moral support. As a new patient, I wasn’t sure what to expect. I had my uncertainties about how good he would be and how willing the Mr. would be to go back to him. Turns out, I was worried for nothing! Dr. Nguyen is a friendly, educated, tech-savvy professional(all notes were typed into a computer and even prescriptions are submitted paper-free, via an online system). Above all(which I find is rare this day in age of HMOs and overbooked schedules), we didn’t feel rushed. He answered ALL my questions, addressed all of our health concerns and even suggested some tips on some health concerns. I find that it’s hard to find a good healthcare professional that is trustworthy, competent and conveys that he/she has your best health interest in mind. That’s why I feel so lucky to have found Dr. Nguyen! If you’re looking for a good doc that knows what he’s doing and will make you feel at ease, Dr. Nguyen is the guy for you. Here’s to your health!

What I like about Dr. Nguyen is his patience and understanding. He takes time to listen to his patients, he reviews all your options and he ensures that he follows up with you. I’ve been a patient of his for 4 years and I appreciate that he just doesn’t give you a prescription and sends you on your way. He ensures I schedule appointments to check up with him and to see my progress. It makes me feel good that he’s concerned about making sure I’m healthy! Dr. Nguyen takes his time to explain everything to you and I feel very comfortable asking him questions. I would definitely recommend Dr. Nguyen.
