NY Pizzeria

I was looking for a great New York style pizza for a long time now and when I went to Imperial Beach to visit some friends, they told me about NY Pizzeria. Oh My God all my prayers were answered. Strongly recommend it. Yummy !!

It seems like we’ve tried every pizza place around IB. We had avoided NY Pizza kinda because we thought it was weird that it was connected to a car wash. Well, we finally tried it and it was great! Much better than the other places around town by far. Don’t let the car wash fool you. NY style and delicious. Robert, the owner, was super nice. We’ll definitely order from here again.

This is some best pizza in IB. My family and I really enjoy the BBQ chicken habanero style pizza. I was skeptical for some time about a pizzeria being inside a car wash but I’m so glad we gave it a shot. The food is amazing and the staff is friendly.

Wow! The best pizza in town! The toppings are generous and they have a ton of ingredients! Highly recommend this place!

I’m pretty surprised that this pizza shop has 5 star ratings. I frankly just don’t agree. I ordered a Hawaiian pizza over the phone. The man who answered seemed very mellow & took my order well. When I went to go pick up the pizza it was ready to go. While I was paying I noticed the guy making the pizza didn’t seem like he didn’t have a sanitary station he was also coughing all over the pizza he was making at the time. He wasn’t wearing gloves & who knows if he washed his hands. The kitchen just didn’t seem very clean at all. After I payed I took my pizza & went home. I was pretty iffy about trying the pizza but I just had a slice, it was okay didn’t have enough cheese for my liking. Also This pizza does not taste good at all after a few hours. Won’t go again.

I live this pizza place in my neighborhood Imperial Beach CA. Robert is amazing super nice guy and very personable. He is s pizza genius. I had a half white and half red pizza. It was a spinach, caramelized onions, mozzarella, and ricotta cheese. The red half was homemade pepperoni, meatball and mozzarella cheese. The crust was thin but light and delicious better than NY’s pizza.

I just can’t get enough of this place, their pizza is just amazing. Along with my favorites are the margherita pizza, and the best of all only served on Sunday thou, the breakfast pie, make sure to check it out, you won’t regret it. Robert is awesome.

Best pizza west of New Jersey. Robert makes pies with passion, pizzazz, and personality. The dough and crust is almost good enough to eat alone. Just slightly singed but never burned, ‘Hey this ain’t Brooklyn where they burn ‘em,” he’ll tell you. And the toppings are top quality, too. Be prepared: the place is also a car wash, game room, barber shop in the loft, and a quickie mart … but the pizza is terrific. Atmospherics are eclectic to say the least; yet the product is perfection. Highly recommended.

Finally got a chance to see what all the hype was about this spot. Let’s just say I don’t know what I was thinking waiting this long! Just all together a great experience. The pies are fresh and re-​heated perfectly! I did however didn’t get the slices I wanted to try but that’s because I came before noon and only a select few were out. Oh well… just another reason for me to come back! In which I plan on doing so this Sunday for football!
I had the classic pepp and the white pizza. The pepperoni were authentic slices and packed with so much flavor. The white pizza was good as well, you can taste the fresh cheeses and oh and right amount of garlic!
All the friendly comments about Robert (owner) are absolutely accurate! This man is a genuine business owner that cares about his service and the pies he sells. He definitely made me feel welcomed and also made sure that I gave him my thoughts on his pizza. We had a short convo and I’m sure that we’ll have plenty more in the future.

I order a slice of Hawaiian pizza and salad with Italian dressing. Taste delicious. The pizza maker is very polite to his customer. And I want to come back here everyday. You need to stop over and bring more people and taste there amazing pizza.

This is the best! Seriously fantastic pizza, and the service is awesome. The owner-​operator made me feel like a VIP on both my visits. And there’s LOTS of parking! I don’t understand how this is a problem in other reviews. How silly. I’ll definitely be back. The white pizza is the best pizza I’ve ever had, and the breakfast pizza is amazingly delicious.

Arcade games for the kids, and dead serious, some of the best pizza I have ever had throughout my entire existence. Thin, crispy manhattan style pizza spot with the chargers game in the background, bae and I pigging out of margherita, white, vegetable, and pepperoni pizza, all whilst realizing we just found a little slice of heaven in IB.

you gotta love it when you find a diamond in the rough pizza place in San Diego… especially in the South Bay. we discovered this gem last minute and the owner Rob was kind enough to hook us up with a pie before he closed.
the New York style pie was exactly how it should be made. fresh ingredients. all hand made. we got a half supreme, half meat with ricotta cheese. couldn’t wait to go home with the pie so we started eating some slices right away. yummy!
this spot is special. large seating area to accommodate groups. great to come to watch a game. adjacent car wash to keep your vehicle sparkling clean. all kinds of arcade games to play with your quarters. upstairs is even a barber shop. The owner, Rob is friendly and passionate about his food creations. He is awesome to talk to if you’re unsure what to try. Can’t wait to come back to try other pies and their sandwiches! And when you leave check out his awesome comic collection on the walls. Look up in Imperial Beach… It’s a bird, it’s a plane, no it’s NY Pizzeria!

So this a car wash waiting center with an arcade (small), massages, barber shop, convenience store as well as a pizzeria. This was a great choice to stop at for some amazing pizza. The guy making the pizza, Aron, really put some love into his pizza pies. The calzones were big and pretty darn good as well. I would definitely come back here again. On top of it they have a little arcade. Not too much stuff, but enough to keep you busy while you wait for your food. They need to put some bigger prizes in their stack game though.

I came here for the breakfast pizza and I was impressed. It had bacon, sausage, hash browns, and each slice had at least 1 sunny side up egg. It was truly a breakfast masterpiece!
Parking lot looked limited, but the venue was clean and spacious. There were plenty of seats and it was attached to a car wash/​arcade. The owner was friendly and made us feel right at home. Can’t wait to come back and try other pies.
