First of all, I was super happy they were open on New Year’s day as many other breweries were closed. I really enjoyed the pale ale and the growlers are pretty neat. They have a few different award winning porters to try if that’s your thing, definitely check it out!

This is a really great nano brewery, San Diego style. Say hi to Taylor when you go, he’s awesome.

This place has a good selection of beers. Especially dark beers. Their beers are pretty good. My main complaint is their prices. I was a bit shocked when I ordered 2 flights of tasters(four each) of their specialty beers and it came to $ 28. $ 3.50 for a specialty beer taster and $ 3.00 for a normal taster is too much. It’s too bad because they people who run it are really nice and it’s a nice tasting room. Too many other breweries that are reasonably priced.

A bit pricey and I found the brews underwhelming. All the top notch SS equipment and yeast lab seem inconsistent with the tables and chairs on the other side of the velvet rope.

This place is great, Taylor is the Man! Super nice & informative about the beers. I’ve passed by many times and tour buses recommend it, now I recommend it too! Especially if you’ve been to all the other brewing companies. This is what I’ve been looking for, a brewing company that provides more beers on the darker side, Browns & reds. Thanks, and I’ll be back soon!

Checked out O’Sullivan Bros finally– Normally they are closed on Sundays. I checked Unilocal and found out they were open. Score! They said that this is the 2nd Sunday they have been open, they were just seeing how it was. My fiancée and I drove up and walked up to this brewery. Upon entry the from seating area was pretty small(about 10 seats with belly bars in the front). The bar/ordering area was pretty small too. If they got a huge rush– I can see it pretty packed when trying to order. There was also room in the back area with a TV. Id say about 30 people could fit back there. We order a taster flight: $ 10 for 4 Irish strong IPA– Good balance IPA– pretty refreshing but nothing spectacular. Catholic guilt– smoked porter.- strong smoked taste. Not watered down or light. Good bodied stout. Has a good texture to it. If you’re in to smoked porters or smokey flavors– here is a good one for you.(Silver medal in 2015 San Diego beer fest) Olde shillelagh– triple stout porter. 8.1%- Light body yet strong. Our fathers stout.- Per the beertender– 20lbs of sugar– sweet stout. I found this to be a really good stout. This wasn’t super sweet but sweet enough. I enjoyed this. (Silver medal in 2015 San Diego beer fest) This brewery had a homely type feel to it. Pretty clean. They also have a lab in the back where all the concoctions happen. I will be coming back–

It’s pretty small with only a few tables but the staff is friendly and the beers are very good. I appreciate the fact that they went a different direction than all of the IPA-heavy breweries and brew more of an Irish style with maltier and less hoppy beers. I believe I had the taster set of their 4 lightest ales(minus the IPA): the pale, the amber, the red, and the brown. Good stuff!

Tiny little place in the business part of Scripps Ranch. Great beers and the name tags around the glasses were a hit! They didn’t have a food truck when we went. I always appreciate a food truck when I’m drinking beer. Lots of parking and restaurants are within walking distance.

This is a nice nano brewery that offers an option to most of the hop– forward breweries in San Diego. They recently won silver medals for their smoked porter and sweet stout at the SD International Beer Festival. I tried both of those brews on my visit and both were very good. The gal running the tasting room was very nice and helpful. All in all, I’d recommend stopping in here if you’re in the area.

Probably the nicest Nano Brewery I have ever been in. Super clean system and the yeast lab was the size of most breweries tap room. Definitely a place that takes pride in their product and establishment.

I’m really stoked about their beer! Its really hard to find a place in San Diego that isn’t full of IPA or «hoppy» beers. I love that their core beers consist of ambers, stouts, and brown ales. The staff is very friendly. I think this place has the potential to be great! Its a tiny little place and hard to find(they put out signs so keep an eye out for those if you’re a first timer). Definitely going to be back at this place!

Good beer and nice bartenders. We tried their flight and I would be able to get a full pint of almost every beer!

I’m glad I went here. Its good to support local breweries. I tasted a flight of four beers and my favorite was definitely the Catholic Guilt. Great smoky flavor. People working here are friendly. Great place. I’ll definitely be back!

Great new brewery near Scripps Ranch in the buildings behind the Trader Joe’s. Storefront doesn’t directly face the street but it is listed with all the other businesses on a white sign at the turn in. Beers I tasted were more on the traditional side rather than the more typical hop bombs you find at a lot of breweries in San Diego. It was a fun change though I do love a nice hoppy ipa. Sweet Nellie howling Brown ale was delicious. Also tried the stout which was also very good. Couldn’t stay too long and am eager to go back and try the rest of the beers. Has a small tasting room but there are a few more tables in the back though you have to promise not to touch the tanks!

Glad to see a brewery in Mira Mesa. Newest and welcome addition to the San Diego beer industry. Came on 11⁄2 for their opening, enjoyed the experience. The tasting room is small, tucked in a wear house, but it was clean inside. The Catholic Guilt porter is a must try — flavored of smoked wood, and even bacon! All the beers are under 6.5%, Irish-style beers, but the owner said they’re planning to release an imperial stout soon. Looking forward to coming back here.

Stumbled upon this newly opened brewery on their grand opening weekend, when looking for a place to have lunch. All their beers are really good. I like how they picked out the names of their beers. Sweet Nellie’s Howling Brown and the Our Father’s Stout are my faves. Great friendly staff!
