I like the pizza. I like the salads. I like the pastas. I like the beer. I wish they had more seating, but I get it. Rent can be expensive in this corridor, and when it’s warm outside they have plenty of outdoor seating. Hard to go wrong with a meal here because it comes out pretty fast. They even have deals in which you can get a couple of slices and a beer for around $ 10. A nice selection of beers of tap that changes. Kids can get cookies that are pretty tasty. I love that pesto pizza. Yum. The house salad is also very tasty and well portioned.

Did someone say PINTNIGHT? This is the place to go to for pint night. For those of you who don’t know what that is… you get to take home the glass you drink! So if you ordered 4, you take a set of pint glasses home. There are exceptions depending on which brewery they feature and how many glasses they have on hand. They also have delicious pizza(I normally order the works and the white). Izzy is always there to help you out too! Best manager ever! Every customer gets great service!

On a recommendation from a co-worker. I ordered a pizza to be delivered to my work from Best Pizza & Brew. They came within 30 minutes. The pizza was hot and delicious, New York style. Saved me the trouble from leaving work where I had tons of projects to finish. Thank you Best Pizza & Brew. In Mira Mesa, they are my pizza go to.

Great pizza and good beer on tap. A little on the high side as far as prices. I recommend ordering fresh pizza, I don’t trust the slices in the glass case. Nothing better than a 22 oz of beer and a pizza from this place.

So we’ve been wanting to try this place for a while. When I heard they had duck foot on tap, we make it a priority to try it out. I have celiac for gluten reduced beer is golden to me, hence i love duck foot brewery. So they also have Gluten free pizza options and salad options. its a pretty small with limited seating. but the food was good. can get really bust so the wait can get long.

Wow how has it taken me so long to try this place out! It’s less than 2 min from me too. A new favorite for a quick bite and chill hang out. I loved their pesto and special pizza. The staff are really nice too. Food comes out pretty fast. The space inside is a bit small but there’s covered seating outdoors with heat lamps(I came on a rainy day). I think they deliver too, I saw a delivery car as I was leaving. Def come here for some delicious pizza!

Today’s experience was good. The parking is shared but there are always open spots. The customer service is good. The food takes a minute to be ready so if you are in a hurry order on the phone for pick up. The pizza was already pre made in the glass so it wasn’t fresh and it was heated too early so waiting for the wings it got cold again… That didn’t make a difference the pizza always still really good and although the wings were cold they still had great flavor and def the best wings around this area; not all fatty, good quality meat and unique flavors. I will def go back for more to try more from the menu and preferably fresh. So far a good find. Decided to try delivery since it is right down the street and last time the wait was a tad long. Unfortunately all the food arrived cold. The food was still tasty but maybe the best quality would be to eat in because traveling at all makes the food cold and not as delicious. overall still the best wings in the area. Best flavor and best quality of meat cooked with a slight crisp. I recommend to anyone who is in the mood for some good wings!

What a nice surprise, cool little pizzeria in Mira Mesa! They sell pizza by the slice or the whole pie, of course. I tried the BBQ chicken, pretty good. It’s New York style, crust was pretty crunchy but soft. Awesome selections local craft beers, you can order them in any size, 10oz, 12oz, and 16oz Ambiance is cool, they have both indoor and outdoor patio seating. Oh yes I will totally come back to this place!

This place has really gone down hill. As an attempt to «help out» the Mira Mesa’s scene, I had high hopes for this place to be a staple. But unfortunately, Best Pizza has to be below mediocre pizza. Slices are tiny and over cooked. Pretty sure I had food poisoning after visiting these this week.(I’ve never seen an employee wash their hands) gross! There is obviously not a manager or owner present anymore. The staff has come and gone so many times– there’s a reason when businesses can’t keep employees. I’d rather bake a pizza at home.

This place is awesome! Great beer selection and great staff. The manager IzIe is the best! Definitely a place where«everyone knows your name» !

I’m all for businesses claiming to be the best or #1 in their niche. But I’m dubious of a place that would so brazenly put it directly in their name. Despite this, I’ve been to Best Pizza & Brew on more than one occasion, and while I wouldn’t say it’s in the«best» class, I would say it is pretty darn good. To start, it really is just like your normal by-the-slice places. Usually they have 6ish(maybe more, I can’t quite recall) varieties to choose from for slices. I’ve never ordered a whole pie, so I haven’t paid attention to what is or isn’t available. They have a few different combo deals that I believe are available all day. I usually get the 2 slices and a soda, which is priced reasonably at $ 7. The pizza itself, again, not the best, is quite good. Standard thin crust, nothing really to write home about, but it gets the job done. The space itself is pretty small. There is some seating inside(high tables with high seats and the bar) and more than ample seating outside. It can get a little crowded at dinner time. I recently came here for lunch, and it was surprisingly not very busy. The staff is always friendly, too. They were flying a banner a while ago that said something to the effect of «best pizza in this shopping center.» Granted, they are the only pizza in this shopping center(I think), but it is a sentiment I can get behind.

Every time I go here I normally order their lasagna for carry out which has always been scrumptious. I have yet to try their other pizza selections. Pepperoni was good but nothing crazy.

For a pizza place that names itself«Best,» I was left feeling disappointed. I feel like if you claim that you’re the best, then you should truly be the best and neither my pizza or salad were amazing. In fact, I’d say it was more along the lines of average. Perhaps«Average» Pizza & Brew would be a more accurate name. My boyfriend and I happened to be in the area picking up a car part from Autozone and were hungry and lazy and decided to just walk across the parking lot. I chose the slice of pizza and caesar salad combo $ 7 special and he had the two slices and a beer for $ 10 deal. My slice of cheese was just okay. I think it was slightly too thin-crusted and a bit too greasy for my liking. However, I still enjoyed the pizza more than the caesar salad, which had a strong flavor that I wasn’t fond of. I had considered ordering the best salad but couldn’t find what that salad included. Reading the Unilocal reviews, I wouldn’t have cared for the toppings anyway as I’m more of a simple house salad with tomatoes, cheese and croutons kind of girl. I picked up a side of ranch to dip my pizza crust in but thought it was a bit odd as well(and my boyfriend agreed that it had a weird flavor).

Besides not having deals like papa johns and pizza has, I think this place has become my new spot for«take out» for pizza. This place has been here for a while now in mira mesa but I’ve really never givin’ it a chance cuz I’m not a pizza dude for dinner and that whenever I have pizza it’s cuz were having some typa social gathering with friends or family. But one day, I suggested to try Best Pizza and Brew since my fam was hungry but didn’t know what to eat as usual lol. We tried the Hawaiian and the Works pizza and surprisingly my family didn’t complain bout it’s too greasy or no flavor or it was expensive and didn’t taste good stuff like that. The pizzas are thin but they’re packed with toppings. The price isn’t too bad if you’re just getting pizza for your fam but you’ll have to think about it if you’re tryna buy more than two boxes of pizzas for a party and whatnot.

May I just say, I am not a pizza lover(crazy, I know) but after being introduced to this spot from my co-worker, I went to this place twice in a week! One reason being is that they have a deal where it’s 1 slice of pizza + a small salad for $ 7 and that’s perfect for me. The setting of Best Pizza and Brew is pretty nice. Indoor seating is pretty small but they have plenty of outdoor seating available. One thing I use to dread about pizza joints are the lack of options, but that’s what I LOVE about this place. There are a variety of appetizers, beers and pizza to choose from. I especially love that they have SALAD! They also have special deals/combos that are offered, which is awesome. As for pizza selection, there are about 6 choices(I think). I have tried the Works pizza and the Barbecue Chicken pizza. The Barbecue Chicken pizza* was average to me, it could use more toppings and flavor but the Works* pizza I would recommend. The pizzas are thin crust and perfectly toasted. The slices are pretty big, too, I would say. I also have had the Caesar salad(lettuce, Parmesan cheese, croutons) as a side with ranch dressing — typical/yummy. P. S. Their ranch is delicious! Employees I’ve encountered here have been friendly and helpful, which is a plus. I rarely crave pizza but if my friends decide pizza for a meal, I’m directing them here and returning for more! I’m looking forward to trying the other pizzas and appetizers. :)

Ok let me apologize for being a lil too bitchy on my last review… Had a salad today and a white pizza slice. Both were very good. My coworkers seem to like this place so might as well as stay neutral.

Stopped here after looking for a quick bite to eat before heading to Edwards theater to watch a movie and was not disappointed. My husband and I both opted for the 2 slices and soda special for $ 7. Killer deal! I tried the combo and white pizza while my husband had the all meat combo. So good! They had a slight crisp to the crust and the pizza sauce has a slight spice to it but it was great. The white pizza could use a little more garlic but overall it was good. Glad we found this place… We will definitely be back.

As the name states, this spot offers… pizza and beer! They have a variety of pizza that they sell by the slice and a variety of craft beers on tap. They also have a few pasta, sandwich, and salad options. There’s some seating indoors and an outside patio area, as well. They have a number of TVs mounted, so you can watch whatever sport is on. This is a chill place to meet up with friends and enjoy some beer and grub. Staff is nice and they provide quick service. Prices are very reasonable. When you walk in, the pizza selection available for the day is displayed next to the register. We each ordered the 2 slices of pizza(Best White & Margherita) with a pint of beer combo. They’ll pour the beer for you before you take a seat. Then they’ll take your slices of pizza over to you once they’ve been warmed up. The crust is thin and the pizza is flavorful. This place was good… Not the best like their name states, but it is good enough to continue going back if in the area.

$ 7.00 for a combo of 2 slices of any of your choice pizza and a soda, I usually order it with a coke. The customer service is ok, I knocked off a star because they could work on it… We got in and wasn’t greeted at all and my boyfriend and I were standing there for a good 10 minutes or so with not even a «Well be right with you, sorry» granted there was one person ahead of us but even after we didn’t get spoken to or helped and it was my first time here. Anyway, the pizza is pretty delicious and I love adding a lot of extra Parmesan cheese. Who doesn’t? I got the meat pizza(I forgot the name) and I was very satisfied! Especially for the price. I’m not too fond of the crush because it was a bit tough, hard, and bland for my liking.

If you go here after 9:30pm it’s $ 1 slices! I come here all the time bc I love their pizza. I’m a huge fan of thin crust pizza so if you are too, you gotta try it. I love getting the Best white and the meatlovers however you can’t go wrong with the others. Their wings are also yummy. I like the mac n cheese with bacon mmmm! Everything is so good. I love how they have a great selection of beer. They have some good deals if you get 2 slices of pizza and. A pint of beer it’s only like $ 10. I just don’t like how ranch cost 50 cents. They should atleast give one Ranch per order. I can definitely come here alone and enjoy my pizza and beer with some good island music playing in the background. I’m so glad they opened up a good pizza and beer spot in Mira Mesa. Love this place!!!
