Went in tonight for the first time and was very impressed with the vegan options they had ! Although they only had 2 soft serve soy options, the girl helping me was very informative and suggested the Acai bowl with the soy vanilla option. She also let me substitute the toppings which made me super happy because not a lot of places work with you. I can be super picky but I was very happy I gave this place a try and I will definitely be going back whenever I am craving something sweet.

I love this place!!! Their paradise acai bowls are on point! I get one every time. Recommend getting it with tart yogurt, honey, and granola. Their granola is awesome too because it had mini chocolate chips in it: P the staff is always super friendly and I really enjoy giving this place my business because they are a local shop. #Camdenkindness

I got the Strawberries and Cream shake, which was just vanilla yogurt and fresh strawberries. So simple and oh so good. Happy that they’re open pretty late too if ever I’m in mission valley. They have acai bowls as well so it looks like I’ll be trying that next. The girl behind the counter even gave the extra shake from the blender and put it in a small cup. The wifey enjoyed the shake too :)

My cousin brought me here last night for the first time and I loved it! The service was great! They allowed me to sample the chocolate custard and the strawberry and they were both delicious but I decided on the strawberry. Best yogurt I had! I will definitely be coming back here to try the other flavors

Paradise Yogurt is down the street from my office so often my coworkers and I will walk down the hill during lunch. Its probably for the best that I am not a big fan of Paradise Yogurt otherwise I would most likely gain 20 lbs eating it daily. I think the upsides to the place are that they have a ton of options and they make all their calorie content available to the customers. There are options for shakes and smoothies and acai bowls. Also, when they are making waffle cones, the store smells amazing!!! The things that bother me the most and honestly keep me away is that usually I am not a big fan of most of their rotating flavors and the cost seems to be way too high. I bought one of their shakes(they call them hurricanes) and without realizing it I was handing over my credit card and paying over 8 $!!! It was only an average sized item and honestly didn’t even taste all that amazing. This may be due to their location as I am sure that Mission Valley is not a cheap place to rent a storefront but I think that their high cost coupled with mediocre quality makes me decide to pass. Every time I walk in with a friend or coworker who is considering purchasing something they have a sign stating that there are no samples unless you plan to buy something so furthermore they shame me and make me not want to try anything, which despite my complaints, I perhaps would impulsively change my mind in the moment if I wasn’t scared to ask for a sample! I honestly just think that there are better options around for frozen yogurt.

I love the chocolate custard with almonds and coconut! Strawberry yogurt was also a fave. We used to live nearby and would go almost every week– even when it was cold.

For Veterans Day they offered 20% for veterans and active military with a valid military ID. It’s sad they don’t know a vast majority of Veterans do not have military ID. We served our country, did our duty, went in harm’s way, and then returned to civilian life. If you are not retired or active duty you do not have a military ID. They have alienated a vast majority of veterans. Shame on you Paradise Yogurt you have insulted all Veterans. You used Veterans Day only to increase your bottom line not to recognize the sacrifice of us Veterans. You failed and lost my business.

This is one of my most favorite places in San Diego! My boyfriend and I are addicted, and are guilty of coming at least once a month. We both are lactose intolerant and absolutely love their vegan soy yogurt! It’s delicious and taste like the real deal! The flavors change all the time too! We always get Hurricanes here cause you get the best bang for your buck! ALL I HAVETOSAYIS I ABSOLUTELYLOVETHISPLACEANDWILLBE A CUSTOMERFORLIFE(:

Amazing yogurt place. Tried the nonfat pistachio frozen yogurt and it was delicious, probably some of the best I have ever had. The chocolate fudge was decadent, creamy and so tasty. They even have hurricanes where you can mix yogurt with a topping. I tried the vanilla with Reece’s peanut butter and loved it. The place has a great vibe to it. The staff was very helpful and let me try any flavors I wanted. The have a great selection of non-fat yogurts and dairy free as well as gluten free and vegan options. They even have an awesome book exchange where you can leave a book or take a book. I do not leave too close but love to come when I am in the area or make the drive over. Definitely worth the drive.

I have come to paradise yogurt a few times before while in the mission valley center. The froyo is decently good, but a little overpriced when Yogurtland is right up the street with the same quality(if not better). The manager seemed to be a little rude to her staff as well. The younger people working there were very friendly and bubbly, so I made sure to tip them. It breaks my heart to see a staff so cooperative and willing to help, be mistreated by someone who holds a higher position. I have no tolerance for rudely talking down to hard-working youth, most likely students trying to get some extra money. The job should not be taken so seriously by the manager as it is a yogurt place and does not require any serious effort. The staff’s friendliness outweighs anything and deserves recognition.

Not a giant frozen yogurt fan, but I can appreciate the fact that they have many options of froyo(like dairy-free). I like that this old-school yogurt joint has a café-style atmosphere. There’s a whole racks of books for avid readers to enjoy from while consuming the yogurt. Paradise also offers ice cream cones, parfaits, fruit bowls and other healthy eats. note: They have a 5 dollar minimum for credit card use or else a 50 cent fee!

We’re regulars at Paradise and can’t get enough! We love the Hurricanes especially with the dairy-free soy yogurt! It’s great to have a dairy-free yogurt that is creamy unlike most fruity sorbet flavors that are usually the only option at other places! It would be cool if they changed their toppings up a bit to create more flavor options.(especially for gluten-free/dairy-free customers!) But they do an awesome job of accommodating overall! We’ll still be back. And back again. And again. ;)

Certainly a treat for those in search of dairy free ice cream options. While the selection isn’t broad it surpasses by providing flavorful soy based soft serve ice cream. Soy vanilla, soy chocolate, soy german chocolate, and pomegranate sorbet are among the few I have seen as vegan choices. Always very generous in their portions, I’ve had myself stuck on the hurricane option, combining vanilla and chocolate which is always accompanied by fresh fruit and rainbow sprinkles. They seem to have kept this great added feature of ‘take a book, leave a book’. Keeping things in hands of locals if you see a book you’d like to take home you must leave a book!

The portions are good, the yogurt has a nice tang to it, the acai bowl was so filling, and there was free wifi! What’s not to like about this place~

I fell in love with this place when I saw that they offered gluten free ice cream cones and creamy vegan soy ice cream. The ladies begins the counter have a warm demeanor and pleasant personalities. When in the area stop in for an acai bowl. They have it all including apple pie filling topping.

This is seriously the best place to get frozen yogurt in San Diego. I could go more into more detail but nothing I say could describe how much love this place– you should try it for yourself to see. Vegan options and low sugar choices are standard, and they tell you what goes into each yogurt flavor so you don’t even have to ask. The employees are always kind even when my froyo cravings have me coming in past 9:00pm. The atmosphere is cool and they even have a bring-one take-one book exchange every day. Best of all, everyone I’ve ever took to this place love it too. Do yourself a favor and go-to you won’t regret it. I recommend a «hurricane» but literally everything you get here will be awesome.

***3.5 stars*** San Diego ACAI bowl — fresh fruit toppings but they were extremely chopped(almost minced) which is a bummer because I like my fruits chunky. Unlike other places, the acai here is served with yogurt. The yogurt is highly gourmet and delicious but it overpowers the acai. I prefer a traditional acai bowl without the yogurt. The acai bowl didn’t impress me as much but service was great. I would come back here for the yogurt only.

Not much of a yogurt person. I prefer Rite-Aid’s Thirfty ice cream. This place isn’t bad. Yogurt is yogurt, they all taste the same. My managers took the entire team here for a special rewards treat :) So much to choose from… Regular ice cream cone, waffle sundae, ice cream sundae, healthy fruit bowl, blizzards/hurricane, blended coffee, etc. You get a free waffle bowl with purchase :) It’s a little on the pricey side you’re looking to spend 5 $+ for just a regular ice cream cone. Feels a little crowded in there… I’m sure the owners adds all the items for entertainment(books, decorations, magazines, more books, designs, figurines, etc. Paradise Yogurt is at a perfect location, next to businesses etc. we always need that ice cream break every now and then, especially with SD’s beautiful sunny weather. They have great costumer service. Super friendly and you get to try samples of all their flavors!
