I am a student at SDSU and have visited the Alumni Center a number of times for events. I think the venue does a good job at making the space feel homey even though it is meant for fancy shmancy events for rich donors and the like. There is a library/study area with a lot of old school SDSU memorabilia. The room is full of antiques, books and interesting objects to look at. To one side of the building, there is a panoramic display of SDSU’s timeline. It showcases major events and transitions that took place during SDSU’s lifetime. I would consider the venue to be a great place to hold events. I am not sure of the pricing but they do offer Aztec Shops catering, which is not too shabby for it being operated on-campus. I am vegan, and Aztec Shops did a decent job specializing my meal. However, I would’ve preferred the Wild Rice instead of the white processed pasta they gave me. Anyways, thats for another review if Aztec Shops someday has a post on Unilocal
