Was very displeased at this hotels guest hospitality. In short my daughter had found a bed bug crawling in front of her when she woke up. I went down stairs to show management the caught bug still alive. All they did was give me the run around and said,“I’m sorry.” My family experienced extreme discomfort while gathering our belongings to promptly leave.

Friendly staff, comfortable bed, decent size room with a sofa, clean room and shower with better than average shower head, a/c worked great, room had nice size flat screen tv, microwave and fridge, breakfast selection included scrambled eggs(with and without sausage). Did not use wifi. Perhaps needs an update on the décor, but for the price(around $ 70) you cannot go wrong. I would stay here again.

It was a nice hotel to stay at. If your looking for a hotel near the border this is it. The room was clean and the staff was great!

Where do I start? I hated our stay at this hotel. We stayed here because our usual hotels were booked/sold out. Check-in took 15 minutes! Are you freaking serious? Yes that’s a long time especially when I was out in the car with our 11 yr old and 9 month twins. My husband said the front desk lady didn’t even apologize for the wait and didn’t give him hotel info like online password, time of breakfast, check out tine etc. I had to call to get online password all that info should be given at check-in. Room: old, small and should be called a suite. The furniture was old and tv was fussy with shitty channels. The room wasn’t clean I asked my husband to make me a coffee and we decided not to because the coffee maker was super dusty and he opened it and it was a bit yellow. The room had that unclean feeling. Ew type of feeling. Sorry if I’m going to pay for a room it better be clean. The hallways are narrow and old. Beds crappy and made noise every time we moved. Ghetto? Yes! Breakfast: 4 – 5 tables and a few chairs… you serious? Fine. Greasy and just nasty. People standing around. Please don’t tell me but it’s «free» um no it’s not free it’s included in the price you pay to stay at the hotel. Price: not good enough for what you get… Surrounding area: away from everything. Few gas stations and lots of warehouses it’s more industrial. Bottom line… pay a little more and stay at a decent place. This place sucks! I agree with Pamela. G’s review. Stay at your own risk! But her they have arm security lol.

I stayed here to have a mini vacationto Legoland since Comic con was a change of plans instead. Anyhow, besides being a little on the far side of Carlsbad, this hotel is really a great price for the amenities and additionals. wifi is free, breakfast is included. Not really much to complain about except they were a little bit stingy on the shaving cream packets. i needed at least four and i only got two for three days and two nights, i should have at least received four. i mean we need to shave… lol.

If service means nothing to you, don’t bother coming here. Mr. Ishvar and his professional, bilingual staff provide the friendliest, reasonable, and fair service anyone could ask for!!! I would give it more than 5 stars if I could. My friend and I had trouble with our camper trailer, and there were no available spots at nearby RV parks. Mr. Ishvar kindly allowed us to take up four parking spots to park our truck and trailer overnite… all for a very reasonable price! Plus, the lot is vigilantly patrolled all thru the night, so we had peace of mind leaving our worldly belongings outside. If that isn’t professional, fair and reasonable service, I don’t know what is. Thanks Mr. Ishvar and team! You’re most appreciated!!!

Don’t waste your money here. The rooms are old and dingy, the beds are uncomfortable and the hotel feels dirty. There’s nothing about this hotel that was worth the $ 235.00 p/night price tag. However, after getting to San Diego with no reservations and being turned away at every single hotel in hotel circle and many other places it was apparently the last room left in the entire metro area. No wonder. While it kept us from sleeping in the car at the beach that night it is, using an old fashioned term, a real dive. Don’t waste your money here. I noticed that someone gave it 5 stars, that is, absolutely, ridiculous.

Great place to stay. I would go back any time. The room was cleaner than most other rooms I’ve been in. Service was also excellent. It’s quiet at night, and amenities are near by. Strongly recommend.
