Rainbow Play Systems

I went to every major playground store in SD county, and we ultimately went with Rainbow. Foremost, they gave us the best price for the type of structure we wanted. But beyond that, they were polite, informed and patient with us as we visited and revisited the store. Delivery and installation also went without a hitch.

When looking for a swing set for my daughter I wanted something big enough that I could fit on and enjoy with her. I ended up buying the King Kong system from Rainbow with a couple of extras. My decision was based on warranty and build quality. I’m sorry to report that I’ve owned my play system for three years now and have had the spiral and strait slide break and the swings form bubbles in them, which makes them uncomfortable to sit on. I am extremely disappointed with the run around I’ve been given in order to acquire new parts, which are suppose to be covered under warranty. Send email here — no you have to US mail picture there — I never told you that, etc… After spending $ 6000 I would have hoped the customer service would be much better and they would stand behind their product. What good is a warranty if you can never get the parts/​repairs you need?! I would not recommend this play system to anyone. I’m in the process of taking down the rainbow swing set and I’ve purchased a creative playthings swing set from a dealer in Mass who services it locally.
