My favorite store hands down. What don’t they have! They have a cheese girl who is always sampling the best cheese with crackers and jams, and she knows everything about cheese! She is so sweet. The staff is amazing and is always helpful. There is always someone asking if you need any help. The food is fresh. They have a great deli with alot to choose from. The ribs are amazing. Truly my favorite. I wish they’d change the brussel sprouts up, make them crispy like all the restaurants cook them. Not fried but broiled. They have a hot bar and they have nice choices but it would be nice to change it up more often. Keep some healthy options. They have some really nice soups, a great alcohol and wine dept. A bread and oil station with lots of nice breads. There is nothing I can’t find here except chicken on sale! lol. I love the big aisles the produce and their prices. So many organic options and healthy things to choose from. They even put bins in like Sprouts to pick up nuts, berries, oatmeal and rices etc in bulk. A little or a lot. Parking lot is huge and everyone complains about it, but when you are patient, you will find a space. People are leaving constantly and it won’t be long before someone does. Just don’t freak, be patient peeps!

I’ve been going to this Ralph’s for over 10 yrs and find it to be convenient(though parking can be an issue at certain times of the day) and consistent. Friendly employees. Love that they added a Starbucks! Prices are decent– not quite as good as Von’s but definitely better than Albertson’s!

To be clear, we think that the produce and deli and overall grocery experience is pretty good. This review is solely about the simple stuff and particularly my wife’s experience in turning in some California Scratchers for winnings. Someone at Ralph’s should simply go to another store — e.g., Von’s, 7 – 11, etc. and see how simple it is for customers to turn in their CA Scratchers. At these stores, you simply hand them your winning tickets, someone scans/totals and pays you cash. At Ralph’s, it is a silly process of someone using a machine in the middle of the service area(no service desk there) slowly entering the tickets, stapling them, etc. THEN — YOUHAVETOGETINLINEFORSOMEONEELSETOTOTALAGAINBEFOREPAYOUT. All seem annoyed or that they have the proverbial«short straw» when they have to turn in tickets. Don’t they know that the only reason Ralph’s has the Scratcher machine there is that folks like us will come to the store so we can both shop and buy/turn in scratchers? Also, aren’t they all on hourly wages? What does in matter if they are tasked with this small request? Granted, we have found an occasionally industrious person who will move a little quicker, make fun of the process and head over to the self checkout registers and get the cash(avoiding the secondary line), but that is few and far between. We buy $ 100’s of groceries per week — funny how simple stuff can make a difference in the choices for our business. Let’s face it, the competitive difference between Ralph’s, Von’s, Albertson’s, etc. is pretty thin — service makes a huge difference.
