Refresh Coffee

So glad that this is close to work. The coffee is good, the staff is friendly and no matter what you want they can make it! I’m not usually a fan of straight black coffee but whatever beans they use are really good!

Really nice coffee and a decent price. Friendly barristas. This is a little stall primarily for the caffeine needs of the staff in the buildings, but a good find.

OMG… YOU HAVE TO TRY THE GREEN SHAKE!!! IT’S FANTASTIC! who knew blended spinach, kale and celery would be so delicious… it has ginger in it but you can barely taste it… i’m not a fan of pineapple, so i trade out mango instead… not only great tasting but super healthy too!!!

Their cold-​brew is great. Not too bitter! If you like the taste of coffee (without milk, sugar, syrup) this is your drink.
Great service. Fast and efficient. They know their coffee.

I work in a nearby office and this little gem is walking distance.
First impression: This place doesn’t seem impressive at all. I really expected that it would be average at best. Do not let the modest look of this outdoor establishment fool you.
Drinks: The drinks are delicious. Everything that I have ever had made there is top shelf. And they literally have any kind of beverage that you would want from a coffee shop: Coffee, lattes, teas, smoothies, everything! My favorite is the Toffee Nut Latte. Not a lot of places have a good toffee nut anything.
The service: the kids working here are great, courteous and polite. Treat them kindly because they deserve it. They are good people. I have never been disappointed by the service. Always happy when I walk away!
Last, but not the least… the prices are WONDERFUL. Great product, great service.

Convenient, fast, and friendly service! When I really need a pick-​me-​up, all I have to do is take a quick walk to this cart. I usually order an Americano or Iced Vanilla Latte. Both are good. The employees are usually pretty quick with the orders. I’m glad they’re only a few steps away from the office!

Friendly staff, great beverages, great prices. I frequent Refresh on almost a daily basis. Just tried their caramel white mocha today and it was amazing! Love Refresh coffee!!!

Best coffee in the area and it doesn’t take like the beans were slow roasted into ash. If you work in this area it’s a short walk for some quality coffee that doesn’t taste watered down like convenience store coffee or burnt and overpriced like the overrated brand with a franchise every 400 yards… ok enough with the subtle hints.

I came here with my brother since the reviews were SO good. I am honestly very disappointed in the service we received. They offered no recommendations and were fully consumed in closing. Granted customers coming in near close sucks but proper customer service is #1. We both were looking to try something new but only purchased iced coffee… nothing to convince either of us that this place is so «amazing».

I was able to text in my order (awesome!), they offer almond milk (super awesome), and their lattes are delish! Definitely come ing here again. :)

I’m a huge fan of coffee and all other consumable items from coffee houses/​shops. I’ve been to chain coffee houses and I’ve been to hole in the wall, English major coffee hangouts. I’ve drank coffee from oil change waiting rooms and from many MANY coffee carts.
There are coffee places with better coffee yes and there are places that have actual seating, but no other place can compare to the service, speed, and atmosphere that Refresh is incomparable. This place is great! I’m here every week if not twice a week.
The staff is the best part. Always providing THE best customer service. I recommend the mango tea if you’re not a coffee drinker and if you are a coffee drinker, any of their lattes is the best (I always get vanilla or hazelnut).

Great small biz: friendly staff, attentive service, excellent pricing and product. The days of drinking full coffee drinks are over for me, but the double espresso on ice is just what I need. Of all the espresso shots I’ve ever sampled, Refresh Coffee’s is the best. There’s no bitterness, low acidity, and I never need to add milk or creamer. I enjoy the paperless receipts, weekly coffee winners, buy 10 get one free program, and ability to order in advance online!

Excellent service and awesome drinks! Food is pretty damn good too. I hit this place up daily.

Having worked for a popular coffee company (that made its employees wear green aprons) for almost five years, I have admittedly become somewhat of a coffee connoisseur of sorts. However, my wife likes to just call me a coffee snob.
This coffee shop is one of the best independent coffee cart/​stands that I have come across. The owner (Pat) is not only a great guy, but he has turned into a good friend.
The coffee he brews is top-​notch, and the espresso drinks are nothing short of a masterpiece. For those of you that tend to shy away from milk products… that’s no problem either. Refresh Coffee carries soy and almond milk for the lactose intolerant or those looking to eat healthier.
My personal favorite is a almond milk mocha… it ends up tasting like a cocoa roasted almost.
**Side point: If you’ve never tried a cocoa roasted almond, I recommend that first so you can fully appreciate that mocha.
Being a techie guy, Pat has setup his business to accept payment wirelessly through the SquareReader app that can be downloaded on the iPhone. This means that because I have my debit card attached to the account, all I have to do is walk up and say «put it on Brian’s tab» and he can then send a receipt via text or email to you.
I thought you’d like that.
As if that’s not cool enough, you can also text your order ahead and it will be waiting for you by the time you arrive. He knows how to take care of his customers, and his business and products show it.

Location, location, location. Refresh has it: They are well placed at the end of an office park that includes Bridgepoint Education and Ashford University, so business is good.
You won’t spot them easily from the street because they’re tucked away in a private parking area at Kilroy Sabre Springs. Just look for City National Bank, find a visitor’s parking spot, and walk around the east side of the building toward the tri-​level parking garage. You’ll spot their distinctive green tent without much trouble.
The coffee is good and served with a smile. You can even text ahead for your order if you know when you’re coming. A few wrapped, baked goods are available if you are hungry.
I love these guys, but they’re going to have to keep an eye on the competition from Nutmeg Bakery & Café down the street…

I LOVE REFRESH COFFEE! Now I don’t drink all that much java but they do make a MEAN Acai smoothie! Staff is very friendly and its always a pleasure seeing smiling employees when ordering. I recommend hitting them up if your in the area.

Pat, John, Lystelle, and the whole team are always so friendly and they consistently make incredible coffee. I love that they know exactly what I want to drink before I walk up and they sell my favorite cookie in existence (vanilla latte with whipped cream and the cookie is white chocolate and cranberry, in case you’re wondering). I heart you, Refresh Coffee!

After reading the reviews I thought I was going to find the perfect coffee place. It was good, nothing special and way off the beaten track BUT I will say the attendant was super friendly and it is perfect for all the employees that are surrounding the area.

The owner/​manager and staff are friendly, fast, and organized and the drinks are delicious. The snacks, especially the Acai bar, are yummy too! Like Nathalia M., I am a fan of the iced Chai here. My only complaint is that the cart is at the end of a parking structure, which is a decision of the office park property management – oh, if only Refresh could be located closer to my building (but then again, that might cause me to develop a dangerous addiction)!
Highly recommended – you’ve got to try it at least once!
