Got a haircut ($ 35) and hair treatment ($ 30 bc of grand opening deal). My hair feels pretty good and Rong Rong was quite meticulous with my hair. She is very good at cutting hair, but since she mostly has Chinese clients if you are looking for something more «American» just come with a picture of what you want :)

As soon as you walk in the door, you’ll notice that there isn’t a signboard for the prices of all of the services they provide. Why? So they can overcharge you if they think you can pay the price! Ignore the 20% grand opening discount, as they will change their prices to be more expensive so you end up paying the same amount. Stay away from this shady-​as-​hell place.

First time visiting to San Diego, I was looking for a reasonable price Asian salon to get myself a Japanese straightening perm. Glad that I found this place, the owner was nice and she was detail-​oriented, keeping her eyes during the process and making sure my hair didn’t get burned. I’ll come back for her.

I got recommendation of this place from a friend, so far did my hair twice here. Very satisfied with the service. The owner listens to my needs, give suggestions accordingly. She is good at layering, gives amazing haircut. The colors is good too, exactly what I need. She gives my hair a natural look, but much nicer look than I stepped into her salon. So recommend this place!

I got a digital perm here after reading other reviews about the owner. I love the results. I showed her a picture and she got me what I wanted. If you want any longer services I would make reservation because customers are constantly in and out and they can get quite busy. I would recommend a digital perm here.

Shocked at the $ 30 price for a mens haircut. It didn’t include a complimentary shampoo either.

The guy deceived me with their hair cut price. What I did wrong is I should have asked the price before getting a haircut. So this guy, he randomly came up with the price when I asked how much is it for the man hair cut. I thought it was too expensive so I asked the owner again how much was it for the hair cut. Shockingly, the owner said a lower pricing then the guy who gave me the haircut. I will not come back again. They will try to be-​friend with you and then charge you a higher price if they think you have money. Have you notice there’s no pricing sign outside their salon? Beware! Not only that, they didn’t apply the 20% discount for me either (they had a grand opening sign outside says 20% discount). Deceive! I’ll tell all my friends stop going there and I will not go to their salons anymore. Period.

Owner didn’t conduct herself very professionally during the visit. She didn’t allow her client to choose the stylist, didn’t ask about client’s preference and kept talking about her business details and selling her more expensive services.
On top of that, a hair cut with blow dry would cost $ 45 for a place that’s not so high-​end.

Very nice and the best hair salon I ever seen in San Diego. I have been in San Diego for more than four years and always in trouble for finding a nice hair salon, but after finding RONGRONG, things changed greatly and my hair comes back to nice shape again! The fee is always fair enough for giving me a beautiful haircut.
