We LOVED this theater and their production of Baskerville. Talk about working with what you have! It is a small theater in the round and it seats 250. It’s intimate and you feel like you are literally a part of the production. With Baskerville, you ARE part of it! The actors may sit on your lap, and do other silly and fun things with you and to you. Everyone was a great sport about it. Very funny production with mystery, great set and fantastic actors. We had front row seats. but anywhere you sit you’re going to have a great view. I don’t know what Michael M is complaining about with the seats. I AM a «wide body» and I fit in the seat just fine. It was cozy, if not incredibly comfortable. Better than the seats in many other theaters I’ve been to here in SD where I feel like a sardine packed in tight! I’m looking forward to seeing more productions here.

Cozy for sure, but I like the shape of this theatre for it’s acoustics and viewing ability. It’s so tight in there you feel obliged to introduce yourself to to the people around you and wave to the people on the other side of the room. I have very broad shoulders but the seats were not uncomfortable — just really really cozy. I really enjoyed the creative stage setups and scene changes because there is no real back-stage. I think they should just put in a revolving floor and really make it fun.

We attended«A Doll’s House» at the Harvey White Theatre. Great show, but the seating was very uncomfortable. We are not«wide bodies». My wife is petite and I am slender tall(6 – 4) and we can fly Coach with comfort. This seating is not up to Coach… they need to at least match the airlines, or it’s hard to fly, even on the wings of Ibsen! I saw other couples leave at intermission, same problem. We endured, the show was that good.

A small, intimate theater attached to the Old Globe theater. I saw the premier of «Nobody Loves You» here. There is literally no bad seat in the house(see photo) and a great way to watch a show and really feel like part of the experience. A friendly word of advice for those going to see a show here, it’s bad enough if you try to whisper during a show… definitely don’t do it here because I will hear you. Don’t make me come up there and hush you.
