First, let me say I haven’t even seen the Dr. yet and I don’t want to. I’ve called 3 times now to schedule an appt. didn’t receive one call back and today I called and was bounced around 4 times before Anthony, the recptionist told me he was too busy to schedule an appointment and he’d call back. When I asked if they would call back today(mind you I’ve called 2 other times already) he said he couldn’t guarantee a call back today if they were too busy. It was by far the worst service I’ve received from a Doctor’s office and if you read the reviews on this site, you should have enough reasons to stay away.

Dr. Spitz himself is a good guy. My primary care physician referred me to him after a routine physical yielded a less-than-textbook-perfect EKG(which turned out to be nothing, thankfully). Dr. Spitz never rushed me through an appointment, answered all of my questions and became a motivating factor in my successful effort to quit smoking. I’m shying away from a higher star-rating due to the witch who checks you in. I misplaced my permanent insurance card, but arrived at each appointment with a temporary card from my household-named insurance company’s web site, freshly printed with that day’s date. She tsk-tsked me on every visit, and on the last appointment threatened to not let me see the doctor next time unless I arrived with my permanent insurance card, despite having received payments from my insurance company and me for all prior visits. The last thing she puts on before heading to work is a scowl. It’s really too bad that a good doctor’s front line is so unpleasant.
