Horrible service and there is never enough employees working here. About 20 people in line right now and only one lane open. Never coming to this location again. Very disappointed.

This place is so miserable. They have a lot of space but a lot of their items are out of stock. Shelves are empty. There’s product on the floor. There are ladders for stocking the store out on the floor, but there is nobody using them; they just block the aisles. They found what I wanted but didn’t want to bring it out. I had a list of 12 items I definitely needed to buy today but they only had 2 in stock. I didn’t think it was worth waiting in line to just get those two items so I ended up not buying anything. If you are an avid Staples Rewards shopper like myself, do not bother coming into this store; you’ll probably just trip over something and hurt yourself. Messy, low stock, too lazy to get stuff from the back, cluttered, waste of time…

I’m actually giving this place no Star. They never have any school supplies I need & they never have anyone to help customers. They should just close the store!!!

I wish I can give them no stars at all. Horrible costumer service, epically one of their employees Shawna Park she has the worst attitude ever towards costumers. I recommend you to go to different staples around the area.

Buyers Beware! Staples doesn’t honor their extended warrantees. I paid $ 99 for a 2 year warrantee. I have been attempting to get them to honor it since 2008. A couple of months has past since they made an offer. I accepted & now no response. He made an offer then welched on it. I will now take them to court & sue for breach of contract plus punitive damages. It will cost them a lot more than $ 500. And I will now take this to the court of public opinion. Thx all of you in the wonderful world of the WWW. Here’s the last few letters. What do you all think? Hello Joy; I apologize for the delayed response, I got a upgrade version of Outlook and did not realize that several emails were being routed to a junk folder. I was able to bring up your warranty information and do see that the unit was sent in for repairs on two occasions. Normally, this would not qualify for product replacement or cost replacement but it seems that the store attempted several repairs that were not documented. I will be willing to provide you with a cost replacement of the product and the warranty in the form of a Staples Electronic Cash Card. I would not be able to refund any tax for this would not be considered a product return. This would be considered a cash out option under the insurance in which you are still obligated to pay taxes. Please advise me if you would like me to execute this offer. Dear Sir, Thank you for your email. Thank you for your offer. I’m glad you found my information in your junk which is exactly how I feel I have been treated by your company. However because I am far too busy to spend any more time on this matter, I propose the following: 1. I would prefer cash for the full amount because although I am replacing the computer, I would prefer to replace it elsewhere. If I receive cash for the full amount within 5 business days, I will stop the legal process, close my complaint at the BBB, not sue for punitive damages & stop all web posts. Pls make the check payable to: CaringTown Inc 5519 Clairemont Mesa Blvd #333 San Diego Ca 92117 2. If I had any doubts about continuing my loyal, long term relationship with Staples, the idea that you would attempt to do me out of the few dollars of tax is, in my opinion, petty & reprehensible. However, because I don’t want to spend more time on this, I will accept your offer if it is complete & I am able to replace my computer before the end of 5 business days. The cash card is to be in the full amount as I will never purchase an extended warrantee from Staples again. Under this agreement, I will close my complaint to the BBB& cease legal action. However, I will not cease web posts giving an accurate review of your company &/or of these transactions to the public. Its unfortunate that you choose to lose the devotion of a very loyal customer. I am a customer who used to recommend you to all my business colleagues & friends. It is also demoralizing to your excellent staff with whom I have developed a trusting & friendly relationship over the years. Now they look at me apologetically when I come into the store. If I had Nam & some of the other excellent people on my staff, I’do everything I could to keep up their moral. But its your choice, your business & none of mine. I look forward to concluding this matter in the next 5 business days. Thank you. I want to stress that the staff at the store AREGREAT! The copy center is excellent. Its Staples management that gave me grief. Update: 3 years & loads of aggravation later, they finally paid me. But I’ll never buy an extended warantee from Staples again. I have a stack of them. What a waste. Anyone want to cook marshmallows on my fire? InventingJoy
