Starbucks

Jeff is the best barista ever. Always starts my order as soon as I walk in the door, always super friendly, and always leaves me with a smile on my face. It’s so rare to see people take so much pride in their jobs, but Jeff does that. No matter what kind of mood I’m in when I walk in, he makes sure I walk out in a great mood, with a perfectly concocted drink in my hand.

I am giving this location one star only because of one particular barista. I have been to many Starbucks from coast to coast and order the same thing for my little girl each time and have never had any issues with her order. I asked for a kids hot chocolate at a specific temperature. She indicated that she could not put it at that temperature and that they don’t have kids size. I was confused but polite and said that is what we usually order (even at this location) and asked if there was any way she could double check or perhaps I was ordering it wrong. She appeared to be very irritated and said «you know what I don’t even care anymore» and obtained the correct price and said she would get it as low as she could as far as temperature. I was completely confused and floored at her attitude off of just a short conversation. After my daughter received her hot chocolate, she attempted to drink it, burned her mouth and was crying. It was no where near a kids temperature let alone the temperature I asked for. No other barista had a problem getting it to the right temperature and if they did they had no issue with trying to cool it down. I am not a super picky person and give people the benefit of the doubt… but my biggest issue is with her flippant attitude and complete lack of customer service. She looks highly irritated that she has to be there so we avoid this location if she is there… which is unfortunate because we go there frequently and love Starbucks so we will stick with the Town Center location which is always pleasant to visit.

This location is one of my favorite starbucks to go to especially when I’m on the go. It’s rarely crowded because it’s inside Von’s. I usually come here before work. The employees are extremely friendly and knows how to make the coffee just right. I order the grande iced coffee with four pumps of white mocha shaken. It’s not bitter or too sweet… the way I like it. I come here so often that they don’t even need me to repeat my order haha.
