Starbucks is Starbucks, the only difference between the locations to me is, atmosphere, staff and type of guest. I love Starbucks, doesn’t matter where it is. The knot difference with this location is parking! It’s located downtown in the little Italy area and unless you’re willing to parking in the red and yellow running in, you’ll have good parking. Can’t complain, you want your Starbucks, you’ll do whatever it takes. Thumbs up for me regardless.

SO tiny, it’s uncomfortable to wait for your drink here. And I just kind of dint want to go here when I know they’re open for Christmas-they advertised with a huge banner– cause this days to me that they don’t care about their employees or the holidays and just want to make a buck. There are a lot of nice options for coffee around that hopefully aren’t Scrooges.

One thing that I used to admire about Starbucks is their fast service. However, this Starbucks in little Italy is definitely an exception. It’s been more than 25 minutes now and counting that I am setting waiting for my black tea lemonade. They’re not even busy. Gosh they’re slow.

Not far from your run-of-the-mill Starbucks. Unfortunate, because I picked this location for its 4 stars in an area where most S’bucks are in the 3 – 3.5 range. This location definitely has some regulars as the baristas know their drinks and call them out by name. The barista that took my order helpfully answered all of my questions, but didn’t quite seem to know how to, or maybe just didn’t want to share small talk. No big deal. After studying for a bit I noticed that one of the baristas is a bit higher volume and vocal with his conversation, and I wouldn’t hesitate to call his comments«rough around the edges». For the sake of privacy I’ll leave the vague nature of that comment without further detail, but I’m sure if you stop by when he’s around you’ll understand.

This Starbucks ROCKS! Although we’ve had one negative experience last September(only one in years!), they really have gotten their act together! Nick created miracle drinks for us today and has a great attitude !! Thank You!

How sweet are these people? I ordered for some friends an iced caramel macchiato. Paid. Put them in the car. Then they texted me their order for iced tea and the barista said no charge. Amazing!

I am not sure why the tall, skinny, scruffy bearded hipster bean cooker with horn-rimmed glasses thinks he needs to voice his opinion about people who order decaf(he repeatedly referred to me and one other customer who ordered decaf as «girls»). I was borderline tempted to throw my 220lbs at him as he kept audibly talking smack about customers for other reasons as well. I will instead though, repeatedly complain to corporate Starbuck’s and keep going back there until he is gone.

So hard to find a parking spot! Staff was ok. Pretty busy inside. Iced Flat White, grande, 2 extra shots — $ 5.05 — Great pick me up before the Taylor Swift concert.

Great service and fast! My drink was made to perfection(mocha frappé, light, no whip)! This Starbucks is located in a great location. Tons of cute stores nearby, I totally want to go back and walk around more!

Place is pretty convenient for me. Usually come here for a quick latte, or a cool Green Tea lemonade. The staff is pretty friendly, and there is usually no wait to get your drink.

This is at the corner of Hawthorne and India St. You will not find parking within 2 blocks of here… With that said, this place is always empty which means no lines and fast service.

I only come here when James Coffee Co.( ) down the street is closed or I’m too lazy to walk all the way over to James Coffee Co.(sorry, James). It’s a Starbucks so I don’t really have much to say. The staff is actually really, really super duper friendly and I feel bad for them because they have to deal with crazy homeless people who live in Little Italy. Once, a guy who obviously had mental health issues asked a barista for a bag and when she gave him one of the Starbucks paper bags, the guy yelled at her and asked her for a larger bag. It made me sad that 1. the guy isn’t getting the mental health help he needs and 2. the barista almost cried because she didn’t know what to do. Anyway, I really don’t like Starbucks coffee but 4 stars for the superb service at this Starbucks location.

Came by this Starbucks location this afternoon after 2:30 pm while my husband and I were strolling the streets of Little Italy. It was a warm day out and we wanted to cool off for a bit so we decided to stop here. We got an iced vanilla latte and iced matcha green tea latte. Both drinks came out fairly quick and tasted like what you get any any other Starbucks(excellent consistenty Starbucks has). Employees seemed nice. This Starbucks is actually bigger than a few other locations that I have been to. There are plent of tables inside and a few outside. The free wifi was pretty fast. Overall an okay experience. By the way, this place is located right across the street from Mona Lisa Italian Foods.

I recently stopped by to try their seasonal old fashioned grilled cheese & spiced root beer. The drink was good but the sandwich was very plain and dry. I did not enjoy it at all. I will be back for more root beer though! :) Their AC was broken(they said it’s happened before) and they should have it fixed ASAP instead of torturing their poor employees and the few crazy employees who chose to sit inside. The employees were funny though. When I came up to order, one of them joked, «Is it cold in here? Should I turn the heater up?» while sweat was pouring down his face. I liked that they had a friendly sense of humor even while they were burning alive. For that, I’m upping my review from 3 to 4 stars.

Lots of space to bring your electronics and chill with a cup of coffee. Love the location it’s at in Little Italy. Or just grab an iced coffee and head out to do some people watching in this prime location! Great baristas and service.

Every morning we were in San Diego the boo needed coffee and went here every morning. The manager and staff were very friendly and professional. they have great location on the corner on one of the blocks in Little Italy. I don’t do coffee so I got a smoothie one morning and a hot chocolate anther. Both super awesome to start the day. Store was clean and there was plenty of seating inside and outside if you want to enjoy the beautiful weather.

I came by this location to get my Americano fix before heading to breakfast. I had the grande iced and a vanilla and almond biscotti for a little over 4 bucks.( ) The Americano was good, but it had a little bitter after taste that was more than usual. With a little half and half, it was more balanced in flavor. The biscotti was very good. I was happy that it was loaded with almonds and the vanilla flavor came through nicely.( ) The service was okay. The employees were certainly moving things along nicely but they were not as friendly as I have experienced at other locations. Need Americano…
