Beatriz is sooo friendly! I came in here based on other Unilocal reviews and I had to try it out! I was definitely not let down! I got an iced mocha and a pastry that’s shaped like a pyramid(forgot the name). The coffee was delicious and omg, the pastry, again, was really amazing. Definitely coming back!

Who does not like chocolate, drinks made of chocolote and delicious everything? I have been a Caxao customer ever since they popped up at various local farmers markets, but not until recently I realized they have a nice petite boutique store at the very heart of the most colorful little tram of Little Italy. You can also get coffees and teas here and enjoy your drink or dessert a the most charming hidden spot, that outdoor patio with a few tables. Perfect location and so relaxing.

I live in the area and have walked by many times. I just never thought to stop in. It is in a little nook and so you have to be sort of committed when you walk in. Finally the day came after a mimosa brunch and I needed something to help pep up. I got a chai tea and it was pretty awesome. The flavors were all there and the price wasn’t bad. I also liked that I did not have to wait very long and so my chat with the owner was short and sweet. Camilla peeped some chocolate cake and decided that it was her birthday and so she should have some. I reminded her that her birthday is in September and so she should wait for her birthday cake. Somehow I got out voted so we decided to split it with BCBP. The cake is not made on site. I felt kinda dumb asking because it was obvious. Stupid mimosas making me all oblivious… We took a seat outside and it was really restful. Some of the outside should be picked up a bit more but overall it is a great place to just kick back and stuff your beak full of good things. Sipping my drink, and eating my chocolate cake that was moist and decadent made me feel like I was on vacation and not a block or two from home. I will be back for sure!

There is MUCHLOVE in the Desserts and Chocolates here! Definitely a HIDDENGEM in the heart of Little Italy! The Rose Water Cake with Champagne Butter Cream Frosting is AMAZING… and the Truffles are to die for!!! A perfect spot for a coffee or tea and a sweet respite…

Super yummy and inexpensive sweets, coffees, & teas. All locally made or made in house by the sweet owner. We had iced coffee and ice Cherry Almond green tea with one«Romantic» biscotti and the shortbread cookies. So good! We really enjoyed the outdoor seating area as well.

What a gem!!! Found it strolling and shopping in little italy. It was time for my sweet tooth fix so I decided to stop in. The location is super cute located in the Cottages with ample outside seating. So much to choose from but I went with a slice of chocolate cake, it was so delicious and moist, there is your choice of different teas, coffees, and natural sodas to accompany your treat. I went with a natural orange soda. I met the owner, awesomely nice lady named Beatrice, she recommended the rose water champagne cake for next time but I couldnt wait so I got it to go as well as the chocolate biscotti, It was incredible! You need to pay Beatrice at Caxao a visit!!!

SUCH a sweet spot in Little Italy! Delicious chocolates and a ton of other really gorgeous deserts. Coming to this spot feels more like going to a favorite aunts house who happens to be a fantastic confectioner. It’s a little on the pricy side and there is no bathroom(so plan accordingly!) but is definitely a nice spot to enjoy a treat in the sun on a beautiful day.

I love when I find hidden treasures. This is one of them. I probably would never have noticed that this place was hidden in between two buildings but there was a sign on the sidewalk that said«Chocolates and Happiness» and the arrow sign was pointing towards the Tea shop. I love a good cup of tea. And this one has some really good stuff that I have purchased before from the Tea Gallerie and at several of the farmers markets. The Coconut Crème is simply delicious! They offer some chocolates, but I was more interested in the teas once I was in the shop. It is a small little place, friendly service. This place is hidden away in Little Italy, near another store called Love & Aesthetics. They have seats outside in a tiny courtyard area so that you can enjoy your drink in a nice private setting. Definitely more quaint than a trip to S*bucks.

Tiny coffee shop tucked around the corner from Love & Aesthetics. The gals were so sweet and made me a delightful iced Coconut Tea which quenched my thirst on my walk home. Great place to stop into if you are at the Little Italy Farmer’s Market.

Caxao: Chocolate that is so good it will get you through any *time* of the month. So much flavor, texture and LOVE put into these morsels of delciousiosity!!! It’s located right next to my FAVE store in Little Italy(Love&Aesthetics) and every time I go I have to stop by for a little bit of that goodness. They have a chocolate bar with lavender and rose petals… SO yummy!!!

Caxao used to be sold at the Little Italy Famer’s market. After not finding the booth one Saturday, I did some research and found that they had opened a café right there in Little Italy. Beatrice is so sweet and makes the greatest chocolate covered caramels. They are just heaven. I enjoy all of her creations, but if you must get one thing, go for the caramels.

I stopped by this little Chocolate Boutique and Coffee and Tea shop during Little Italy Festa. It’s located between an apartment building and a Love and Aesthetics shop( ) When I arrived, I was greed by a lovely lady named Beatrice, and I was in a trance as I surveyed all the beautiful chocolates strategically placed about the shop.(
I was in need of an afternoon pick me up, so I had them make me a French press house coffee and for a snack, I picked up a small package of Vanilla biscotti’s( ). The coffee was fantastic with smooth flavor yet, strong pick me up. The biscottis were an excellent treat to nibble on with the coffee.( ) I did not purchase any chocolates because I was not planning to head home, at the time, anytime soon, but I was very impressed with all the chocolates and cakes that Beatrice makes.( ) I no doubt intend to return to try out some of her delectable treats.

Thank you Beatrice for the lovely time spent describing your fabulous hand-made Chocolates. The Pot de Crème? Lord have mercy that was delicious. Her flavors are seasonal and the daily selection is small for now, as she makes them fresh very regularly. She has been open as a retail store front for a few days now, but has been creating and selling these delights for many years. She is very experienced and these are just as fabulous as the goodies we get in San Francisco and Napa. Next door is her gift shop full of lovely items and many unique gifts for yourself or friends. We drove over an hour, worth the drive and will return soon.
