Evidently at this Starbucks they can’t fit venti frappé into a venti cup. I asked the girl, who made my drink in the soy blender to remake so I knew it wasn’t soy and not to throw away a fourth of the drink. She starts arguing with me. It’s a $ 5.45 drink. STFU and remake it without throwing away ¼ of it. It’s not about the shots it’s because it’s too weak in general. Don’t argue with me just remake it. Then it was the endless defense to me about why the drink was ok from staff. For $ 5.45 you should just remake it. Then they put it in s weird cup that squirted all over me when I put the straw in. Not an accident I’m guessing. Too much drama at this Starbucks. Go to a good one. Complete waste of $ 5.45. The problem is, like most Starbucks, is they put in too much ice. Use the right scoop, not over full, and all will be well. I don’t mind an ounce being thrown out for the extra decaf shot, but when you’re tossing 5 – 6 ounces out, it’s because of too much ice, not a 1 oz shot. And the taste is off. With that much ice, it’s like ice with a little caramel/coffee flavor instead of caramel/coffee with ice in it. The manager was nice but the staff was just trying to get me out of there instead of making the drink right. They think giving me a treinta cup solves it. But don’t you think there’s something wrong if they fill that cup, still throw some out? It’s a 20 oz drink. Even with 3 oz of shots for decaf, there should still be 7 oz of room in a 30 oz cup. But no. They STILL threw out a little. They just don’t get it because they just don’t care. Do what they do and move on regardless of quality. They seem to think the customer doesn’t want any thrown out, but that’s not it. If you throw out that much it means the drink is too weak. So now I have 30 oz if weak frappuchino. So disappointing because this drink is great when made right.

Im a regular… by that, I mean ‘I go there everyday’ The baristas know my order and they sometimes even start making it the second I walk in. Super friendly employees!

This Starbucks is definitely my go to coffee place since us girls work a minute away! They’re always busy but they always deliver at a very reasonable time and the wait time in line moves pretty fast. They’re always understanding if I accidentally order the wrong thing which is nice!

Rookies use the drive-thru. Always a line and you’ll be in and out super quick if you just get out of your car. Service really depends on the day. They’re super on it Saturday’s. Early Friday? Not so much. But it’s Starbucks and it’s fine. Right by Lefty’s if you want an awesome haircut.

I’ve been here every day this week visiting the area, around 7am. Drive thru line goes on forever but I go inside. Lines are fast and efficient, baristas friendly and on point. Haven’t had a problem getting a seat either. I wish they had a few tables outside instead of the plants is all

Came here to get a coffee because unfortunately every other starbucks down here is closed. I was in line about 6 minutes before they closed and waited until I rounded the corner and they told me «no, sorry» and waved me off even when they saw me sitting there when I arrived. Great employees!!! Haha.

The staff at this Starbucks is incredibly nice and accommodating. I go to this Starbucks at least twice a week and have always got great service! I had some confusion with my mobile order this morning and the staff was still understanding and helpful. They were pretty busy and still helped my order get to me. I was sick and ordered a Medicine Ball Tea, which is a combo of hot tea and lemonade. I highly recommend it if you’re looking for something soothing, yet refreshing to soothe your throat. Without even asking, the gentleman helping me gave me a cup of ice so I could drink my drink right away without having to wait for the tea to cool. Just a little gesture that made me feel like this Starbucks takes the extra step to make their customers happy.

You guys should probably find someone new to work the drive thru window, because Laura doesn’t know how to do math very well, and has horrible customer service when she is told that she is doing it wrong. I come here every morning, and this is the first time I’ve ever been disappointed, but help us all, and help this girl out.

I love this place. I don’t normally overpay for my coffee but a client have me a gift card and I thought«what the hell!» My daughter and I stopped on our way to school. Everyone and their mom uses the drive through so we walked in. It was completely empty and the service was still fast and friendly considering how long that drive thru line was. Our cashier was personable, friendly and FAST. In and out in 5 minutes and still made it to school early!!! Keep up the great work guys!

S l o w e s t Starbucks ever. It’s quicker to go in, expect to sit in the drive thru for at least 15 minutes. Not efficient at all. And my spinach feta wrap had cold eggs in the middle. Gross.

In the past, Starbucks was superior in customer service. I often used them as examples when I would train people in customer service. I am not sure, but something has changed. I feel like a number at the PB location. There is a nice young man who is friendly and helpful, but the others treat you just like a routine transaction. They don’t wear their name tags any longer and they never ask for your name of the cup. What changed? They do not CONNECT with their customers. I have quit using Starbucks as my example of OUTSTANDING customer service. They are now being used as my example of what NOT to do. Just to be clear, I am talking about the store located in the shopping center on Garnet St. My purpose of this Unilocal is hopefully someone in upper mgt will take a good look(hire a secret shopper) at what is really happening in this store. Thank You for listening.

His was my first time coming to this location and not gonna lie, it took me a couple drives around the block to actually see it(I am directionally challenged). Parking is very minimal and so is the drive through but I can tell business is bangin. The staff seemed to see busy but my favorite baristas Lani was quick to help me. Thanks girl for my espresso, much needed. Would definitely come back!

Had a great Teavana Oprah Tazo Chai Tea Latte –hot. It was a great pick me up. I am always seeming to need caffeine at around 4 pm. This is getting to be a habit lol. It gives me something to keep body and soul together until dinner time. ;) The sweet guy at the drive thru was upbeat, friendly, smiled a lot, and had perfect teeth! He was very nice to look at. :D

I come here literally everyday(unless I’m out of town) a lot of times twice a day(unless I’m in another part of San Diego. I go in and also use the drive through. Everyone here has always been great except today. Amanda would not give me the bathroom passcode and said«oh our Bathrooms are for customers only.» Seriously!?! I come here every single day pretty much~! Almost always use the bathroom first before ordering on my second time around. I’m sure you can imagine why~! HA(I always get Trenta)

Worst Starbucks I’ve ever gone to. I ordered a very berry hibiscus ice tea and when I received it my cup had a gash on the side! As I picked up my cup my tea came shooting out the side of my cup ruining my white shirt! I let the batista know what just happened he giggled. As he’s making me a new drink another barists walks up with a cup full of ice and ½ cup off coffee. He tells the guy making my tea«Nice Americana » and his replied just top it off with water! I thought he was Jst playing but nope! He filled the rest of the cup with water, shook it up a bit and gave it to the guy in the drive thru!

I come here A LOT, and always go through the drive-thru. The guys at the drive thru are always super friendly. and sometimes funny. «thanks a latte» LOL. BUT today I went inside for the first time… and got the WORST attitude from the girl at the register. I can honestly say I’ve never been treated so poorly by a starbucks employee before.(I dont know her name, skinny pale with dark hair) I’m sorry, am I inconveniencing you by ordering something? I even tried saying thank you after the transaction but couldn’t even get the girl to make eye contact with me. She does not belong at a starbucks. She frightened me. I think I’ll stay in my car from now on…

I have been coming here quite often over the past week to prepare for a test. It’s been the perfect place to study at night. There have been a few uncomfortable encounters with people coming in who aren’t Starbucks customers asking to use my phone, striking up conversation, or just awkwardly standing around. The employees do a good job in asking those people to leave. Other than that, the location is pretty small, but clean!

This is a very busy Starbucks and a lot of people hang out here. I stopped in to get some work done and enjoy a venti green iced tea with no sweet and a petite vanilla scone( ). The green tea was refreshing and hit the spot, but I thought they put way to much ice in the teach, which watered it down quicker than I wanted to. The vanilla petite scone was good a came with a nice icing top( ). The scone had a nice crumbly texture inside with a good and mild vanilla flavor( ). Always a good dependable scone. Service was okay. The girl at the counter was nice, but the one making the drinks was a good spirits calling out the drinks as she made them. The Starbucks has some seating along the west side of the building and being near the beach, it’s nice to sit and watch the sunset during the evenings.
