This is my favorite Starbucks. It is always clean and the nice/skilled baristas(Xochit, Kevin, Kate, Gabriel, Josué, Rachel) make it easy to overlook the one or two homeless that come in occasionally. However today I was waited on by a new barista named Daniel who made me just a bit uncomfortable. I understand that baristas have to be nice to customers but it got to the point where he was being a bit unprofessional. He asked what my name was and asked what I was doing in downtown and what I did for a living. He seemed very insistent on starting a conversation despite the fact that there were at least 3 people behind me in line and I was in a hurry to get my beverage. I would also see the other baristas working very hard and observed him just standing in the background at times. I gave this location 5 stars because the service is usually great, but felt like bringing this new employee to the attention of whomever it may concern.

Don’t like when you get to pick your free breakfast sandwich and the one you want they are out if at 10:15 in the morning.

I go to Starbucks frequently but the experience is starting to wear off. Coffee is good but way too expensive especially near up-scale hotels, airports and tourist attractions. Pastries are also good but quite fattening. I am working my way through gift cards and actually prefer Co-go’s coffee or some other alternative. The social aspects of Starbucks visit are still appealing but only in a place where I get to know the regulars. In a new place, ho-hum.

Very quick service. I came here for the starbucks cup and some drinks to get my mom and bf on the way back on our trip. I asked for our iced drinks with less ice but they came with regular amount of ice. :/At least my mom enjoyed the hot chocolate.

Stopped in this Starbucks after working out at the convention center & fell in love with this starbucks. It was super busy but customer quality & service was not lacking. It’s a smaller sized starbucks so it could feel a little cramped with so many people. However, I love the location & service. Def will return again.

This Starbucks is so slow! I came here down to visit with my cousin and we wanted a coffee fix. The line wasn’t even that long and the bartisa(she had orange hair) who was making our drink took her sweet time making the drinks for the customers. My cousin also asked for a cup of water too and the bartisa asked her«you want water?» Then she said«um hold on.» She then grabbed 2 new cups to make for other people and ignored what my cousin asked for. We waited for an additional 5 minutes for her water and still didn’t get it… Like what? It doesn’t take that long pft.

This location is attached to the Hard Rock Hotel, but facing 5th Ave. It’s not a bad Starbucks, but it’s small, however it does provide some seating right outside and inside. I came in during lull. while I was waiting for some friends to make it downtown, and I ordered a grande unsweetened ice green tea. The green tea was good and served with just the right amount of ice to keep it chilled for the duration of my stay. Service was okay. I thought the employees could of been a little friendlier, but than again, they were quite busy and appeared to be pressed. I did use their Wi-Fi via my laptop and it worked efficiently for the part, except for a few lags. This Starbucks is very busy given its location and does not have a lot of room for large study groups. It is however, a great place to meet up before heading for night out on the town.

Excellent service! Great display case. Being an ex Starbucks employee, I know Starbucks standards. They deserve an A. My AMERICANO was very hot, perfect! I have such a hard time getting it right in Fairfield, Cali. Thank you very very much.

Pretty cute Starbucks. They do not have a restroom, and thus you have to go inside the building instead. Today their internet or cash register was not in proper order so we could not pay using any gold card thru mobile device. Gaslamp Quarter on a Saturday and no line. Yes, please. Thank you.

They have the clover system. If you are tired of the regular Starbucks at the local hotels it is a short walk just up 5th Ave

Great Starbucks, I have been here on many occasions and have never had even a mediocre customer service experience! Additionally, I never have issues with their wifi… I keep coming back to this location even though there are 3 closer Starbucks.

Great new Starbucks in an amazing location, half a block from our new condo Downtown. The staff was nice and the coffee was hot. I’m sure they’re going to get to know me here.

Great cozy Starbucks right near Hard Rock Hotel. Great location near hotel, trolley stop, and Gaslamp District. Great service and they have all the bells and whistle here.
