First time I’d EVERBEEN here! I walked in there when it was 100 degrees outside with my grandson who just flew in from out of state also with my service dog. Wayyyyy too hot to stay outside! I did not hear her ask him if my dog was a service dog. She said nothing to me! Then she said! you have to leave immediately! the dog can’t come in! I said why? She’s my service dog! She said, he, my grandson said, that your dog was not a service dog!!! I never heard her say one word to me! Or him! He said she asked him & that He said no. He had no idea my dog was a service dog. He doesn’t live with his grandma and he is far too young to understand these things!!! She should have walked up to me & kindly ask me! My grandson was so humiliated and totally embarrassed!!! Humiliated!!! Period!!! Absolutely nothing kind!!! What happened to hello! How are you? Welcome! Nothing nice about this owner at all! Then her brother proceeded to walk over to me to tell me «I» was rude to apologise to his sister who is the owner! I was already having a very difficult day… I’m exhausted… Hungry, needing comfort and courtesy… The guy who made my sandwiches was very apologetic & made our sandwiches perfectly! I refuse to ever go back!!! That owner will NEVERSEE A DIMEOFMYMONEYEVER!!! So sad when someone is so prejudice that no matter what! they come off evil and attacking! I will never leave my child or dog in a hot car! EVER!!! I’m boycotting this place!!! Rude RUDEPEOPLE!!! God help us! who knows if they put stuff in your food here??? Scary stuff out there!!! Never again!!! Bad mojo here!!!

Just your general Subway location but what makes this one stand out is the customer service. It is owned by an incredibly sweet family. It is a pleasure going to get a sub every time because you are always greeted with a smile and they make every effort to make sure your sub is exactly how you want it. Keep up the good work guys !

Watched Leslie make the best Subway sandwich ever, after years of going to Subway. The entire staff had a great attitude, very professional with fantastic attitudes. Best Subway in the United States y Leslie es una belleza!

It’s your ordinary run of the mill subway, but the crew there is cool and they remember my order every time I walk through the door. I guess I’m kind of a regular. They’ve even done random sandwich requests for me. i.e. Toasting my veggies under the cheese. + Clean eating area + Coffee is always fresh + Breakfast crew is great + Lunch lines go by quickly

After experiencing HORRIBLE customer service at the Fairmont location… I am pleased to say that this El Cajon location is the best subway location in San Diego I’ve come across thus far. Which is surprising considering the area. The people that work there are always extremely nice and greet you no matter what they are doing. The location is extremely clean. They make great sandwiches! I’ve also called and pre ordered one time, which was no problem, and saved me lots of time as I was rushing to work. And let’s not forget the soda! The soda ladies and gentlemen… It actually taste like soda!!! This location does not skimp on the syrup. The soda always has flavor and is never flat. Now back to the crew, they are always nice and actually try and make conversation with you, which is nice when your coming in for a nice lunch. The only down side is that it is not 24 hours, if that’s even considered a down side. Lol Basically this location is a GREAT location and deserves 100,000,000 stars.

they should have a no star. very unsanitary .i think this guy’s name was efren or something like that. well he had some gloves on for idk how long before i arrived. he served my two soups and charged me while using thr same gloves. grabbed my money and gave me change .then a guy arrived and made him two sandwiches while using the same gloves. handled bread and toppings. money carries thousands of germs that can get people sick and its just plain disgusting!!!

Service was friendly but he was working by himself. We were the second customer in the door and we waited over 15 mins until we got helped. You would figure there would be more people working during rush hour. Next time I’ll try my luck at the one on Euclid.

One of my favorite Subways in san Diego. Always fast and clean, no matter how many people are in there. The sandwich artists are always friendly and greet you when you come in. One of the workers, Sopa, is very helpful and friendly!

I love coming to this subway! The staff is super friendly and it is really clean considering it’s on El Cajon Blvd. I love that it’s across the street from my place so I can just walk here! The staff is very generous with their amount of veggies they give.

The staff at the location is very friendly and courteous. It appears that this is family owned and operated franchise and that they genuinely care for and have a passion for food business. You are greeted with a friendly smile when you walk in(not always true at other subway locations). The staff makes amazing subs with perfect mix of ingredients. I never had any complaints at this location. The dining area is clean and well maintained and there is plenty of parking available at the front.

edit: Supposed to be 1 star. This place was nice when it first opened, Its within walking distance and is right next to a great donut shop. But overall the service is complete crap. Went here one night for a meatball sub. I gave him my order and stoner working looks at me with a complete«Im so lost right» and replies«um we dont have any meatballs available.» I shrug it off to them probably having a off night. Go back there again and Ask for a meatball sub. The lady working says its gonna be about 15 minutes. I consider myself pretty patient and wait for them. Well soon 15 minutes pass by, 20 mins. 30 mins… Finally she says«OH the meatballs are ready.» Not to forget. While I was waiting 30 mins, One lady ordered a large cup of coffee. The same lady responds«WELL we don’t have any coffee available.» 3 minutes later. This lady who wanted coffee comes up to the register saying«You gave me the wrong sub…» How on earth your dumb enough to give someone a different sub is beyond me specially when it just slides down the counter. Finally after getting my sandwhich ready, she ask if I wanted any chips or drink? I reply«No, unless your giving it to me for free.» She replies«I cant give away free food.» I reply«Do you honestly think making someone wait 30 minutes for fast food is normal? Her response«Well it was only 20 minutes.» I had a good laugh at that and walked away. I mean I guess the real people to blame are the owners since they hire people to keep the place running and organized with a pretty simple system but instead hire people who are just lazy and complain and overall are just pretty slow thinking on there feet. Sad thing was this place has a #1 zagatt rating or whatever.

One of the cleanest restaurants on El Cajon Blvd!!! Possibly THE cleanest restaurant on all of El Cajon Blvd. It’s only been open for a few months. The seats are brand new, and don’t have graffiti on them. That’s an amazing feat given it’s location. I hope it stays that way, because I love to eat here. The people who work here are chill and are generous with the veggies and condiments. Most subways will make you ask for more spinach about 7 — 10 times, adding 2 leaves at a time. Not this subway, HEAVYONTHESPINACH you say? Well, say no more! You are going to get a Viking’s fist full of spinach. Here you go, you hungry man! Thank you subway! 10⁄10
