Sunrise Deli

Quick and friendly which is a must since I only have ½ hr lunch. They make almost all sandwiches. I only ordered BLTs at deli’s since you can never go wrong on a BLT haha.
Anyway… I enjoyed my BLT with its Krispy bacon and fresh lettuce tomatoes on toasted wheat bread with mayo annnnd a side of potato salad.

This is a good spot for lunch for those who work nearby. I odered the grilled cheese on wheat and french fries for $ 7. I would return again if I forget to pack my lunch.

I work right around the corner from this place so i’ve had most everything they make. the Miramar Special is epic ! Portion size is perfect for workday lunches, prices are good, staff is incredibly nice, service is fast and clean ! I’ve read where people have put down there Philly, c’mon people, this is a sandwich deli, not a specific specialty food place, there menu is huge they will have something for everybody.

I eat here all the time. Shawn is really friendly and always remembers my name and even what I order, which I can say as someone who is in sales & marketing, is outstanding customer service on his part. The food is always solid, but I recommend the daily specials most of all (especially the Asian food). I’m so lucky to have this place across the street from my office!

The staff is always courteous and knows most of their customers by name. I enjoy the Japanese curry special and their breakfast burritos! They are fast, courteous and the food is great.

This place has great customer service and delicious food. They have 5 daily specials (more or less) on top of their everyday menu. Two of my favorites are the: Teriyaki Alaskan Salmon wrap with avacado and bacon special on Tuesdays it’s amazing! There is not a taco shop in the area so if you’re craving a carne asada/​Cali burrito you can get one here on Wednesdays with a side of refried beans and tortilla chips. Their chicken katsu over rice (Friday special), turkey avacado club, breakfast burrito special #3, breakfast plate with eggs and meat of your choice with hashbrown, and veggie breakfast burrito are all fantastic.

Had the Miramar special, extremely delicious, the roast beef was nice juicy and tender, the bacon was crispy and had awesome flavor, and for the Chipotle mayo… yeah that stuff rocked, oh yeah and may I add that it has avocado on it, yes sir. I can’t wait to taste everything on their menu. Must try!!!

Sunrise is clutch for a quick lunch, especially if you work nearby. The staff is awesome and super friendly — they’ll remember you by name if you come in once or twice a week. Prices are super reasonable for the sandwiches. Highly recommend for a quick sandwich.
My go to is the Miramar Special with extra meat. Buttery bread you could eat by itself, killer grilled roast beef, bacon, pepperoncinis, ample avocado, and melted swiss cheese. Wow. I could eat this sandwich every day.
My only disappointment is the breakfast burrito, which I was dense enough to try multiple times and types. It’s not a cohesive burrito. The tortilla is aiight, but the eggs are weird (not scrambled) and ham just does not fit the other flavors. I’m pretty sure their salsa is just Pace in a container — it doesn’t fit the burrito at all.

Sunrise Deli is my go to deli in San Diego. Staff is very friendly with exceptional customer service. Must try the «Miramar Special» it’s the best sandwich I have ever had… Enjoy! :)

Ive only ordered for carry out. Their chicken club deluxe is really good, they always put a good amount of avocado. And their Chipotle chicken sandwhich is really good too. Honestly think their prices are reasonable. Worth every penny. And they’re pretty quick as well.

The owners and every one of their employees are amazing. So kind, friendly, and welcoming. It’s hard to find good service like that!
Everything I’ve had here has been delicious and I’ve tried quite a bit. My favorites are the salmon wrap lunch special, the Steve special, the Miramar, the chicken katsu, curry… ya know I could just go on. They have just about anything you could want to drink. Everytime I’ve been a pain and asked for a special request like grilled sourdough instead of plain wheat bread, they haven’t batted an eyelash. Anytime a customer asks for a lunch spot near us I direct them to sunrise deli and have always heard great things. Some customers even come out their way for lunch at Sunrise. ALSO if you didn’t know, they serve breakfast too and it’s just as yummy!

The staff was outstanding, good quick service and nice outdoor seating with very reasonable prices. I had the Philly and it was very greasy, light on meat (like Subway) that was over-​cooked and covered in cheese and onions. I love cheese and onions but the focus should be the meat. This is a disappointing attempt at a classic. Probably one of the worst Phillies I’ve ever had; but the fries were solid and I’m giving them the benefit of the doubt on other menu items because it was so popular.
For my East Coast transplants, don’t expect something from the City of Brotherly love if you order that item. If I lived out there, I’d give it another shot.

I absolutely love this place! It’s super close to work, you can call in your order and they have it ready by the time you come in (avg 10 min) burgers, sandwiches, salads, you name it. I probably eat here more than I should but it’s delish!
Tip: just add bacon, to anything! Bacon cheeseburger, BLT. Give it a try, you’ll thank me ;)

Found this place by accident, it seems to cater almost exclusively for the businesses located on the nearby industrial estates however this place is worth travelling out to.
I opted for the special sandwich which seemed great value and arrived in just a couple of minutes time. It was easy to find somewhere to sit and enjoy my lunch. If your looking for somewhere quiet to have lunch this probably isn’t the place for you, as when I visited the TV was on very loudly showing a World War 2 film.
This deli offers a wide selection of food choices for lunch at great value and provides a friendly and prompt service.

This is the best deli in the area of you are looking for a quick lunch that is cheap, filling and tastes great. I can’t say enough about the staff, they are super nice and they remember you by name. Their sandwiches are delicious and fresh and I always order off their special menu, which has much more than sandwiches with specials everyday ranging from blue cheese mushroom burgers to beef and chicken plates. I’ve been coming here for years and is always my go to lunch spot.

Perfect place to have a quick lunch. The guys that work here call you by your first name when you come back, which is awesome. And I like the fact that there is a changing menu. I had the curry katsu which was tasty, but not as good as what I’ve had in Hawaii. Still a good substitute. Overall, I recommend eating here if you are in the area or work nearby

Really super place for a mid-​day meal. They have a breakfast menu also, but I haven’t tried any of the breakfast burritos or omelette offered. I think Sunrise Deli really caters to the people that work in the area, since they close at around 3:30 PM and definitely isn’t available for a dinner option.
Dozens of choices of sandwiches, burgers, and sides for lunch, and every sandwich I’ve had here is stuffed with lots of meat, cheese, and veggies. The prices are also incredibly reasonable– I think all of their sandwiches are between $ 5 – 6. Impressively fast service, even during the lunch rush, and everything is made to order. Seating indoors is a tad limited but there’s a covered patio out front. Will absolutely return!

This place is a gem. I’ve only been here on four occasions, but ordered a different sandwich every time. I can say that I was thoroughly satisfied with every single one.

The sandwich was A-​OK. I ended up getting a tuna melt sandwich. I thought the tuna salad was a bit runny inside but other than that, not too bad of a sandwich. However, I’d probably recommend something else other than that. I have to go back to try something different though so expect an updated review after that.
This deli is located in an industrial area so getting here can be a bit confusing. Parking is never usually a problem. Prices are reasonable and customer service was pretty spot on.

Great place to grab a sandwich during work lunchtime! Delicious AND affordable. With such a large selection of sandwiches, you’re sure to find one to your liking (although I’m sure they’re all yummy). Every time my coworkers and I arrive, we’re greeted by the sweet owner, Eunice. She has the superpower ability to memorize names from the first day she meets you.
My absolute favorite sandwich is the Chicken Club Deluxe. The chicken is breaded and fried to perfection and goes well with the toppings of sprouts, lettuce, mayo, cheese, and bacon. Other notable sandwiches include the Cranberry Turkey, the Miramar, and the Veggie.
