They have now moved a block away, new address is 10538th Ave, San Diego, CA92101. (No longer located at 702 Broadway, San Diego, CA92101) Comfortable space inside, several shelves, a wide variety of items. CAUTION: Carefully check what you are being charged. Today I was drawn in by the big sign in the window for Bumble Bee Chunk White Albacore tune, $ 0.79 per can. Once inside I was happy to see the sign 2 for $ 1.00. So I grabbed twelve cans, along with sundry other items. The total was $ 25-something. Didn’t think of it right then and there, but when I got home, I realized I’d been way overcharged. One of the cans had both a $ 0.79 and $ 0.99 sticker on it. Evidently he rang me up at $ 0.99 per can for 12 cans. No receipt so I really have nothing to present if I return tomorrow. I WILLGOBACK… just exercise caution because evidently they do not provide any itemized receipts.

Trust me – you have seen this place. The first time I saw it I thought there was no reason I would ever need to or should walk inside. Its just as ghetto from the outside as it is on the inside. Its slightly dirty — sort of like if Big Lots or the Grocery was smaller and located in a crack alley. BUT Wow-wee, the SD& F is the shiiiittttttttttteee. So much so I didn’t want to tell you about it. The selection of items they sell are comical — neutrogena sunless tanning cream, du rags, midol, clorox bath cleaning wand, little plastic baggies for«jewelry and coins», organic chocolate. WTF, right? All I have to say: I get nexxus condition here for $ 1.49.
