Swift Frame

I just picked up my framed oil painting and Erik did an amazing job. He did it in just a few days as I was on a tight deadline, and he picked the perfect frame. He was courteous and pleasant and if I lived in SD, I wouldn’t use anyone else. Can’t recommend Erik and Swift Frame highly enough Pricing is also very reasonable.

I am more than impressed with the work that Erik did for me. He matted and framed an enlarged photo that I gave as a gift. It came out great, for a fair price, and the recipient was thrilled! Excellent work Erik, you just created a returning customer!

I wanted to get some of our wedding items framed, but was struggling to find a good place to get it done. Other shops were design minded, but extremely expensive or in the right price range, but not design minded and simply wanted to do a standard layout for my items. I didn’t want to pay an arm and a leg for this project nor did I want my items to look like a diploma on the wall.
Luckily, I stumbled upon Swift Frame. Erik was willing to take on my project and create something that was not cookie cutter, but also give me a fair price. He said it’s not his favorite type of project since it was not a standard layout, but he worked with me and made a great piece. It was also done in a matter of days, not weeks like other shops. Erik even added an extra design to the matting without charging me extra.
I’d highly recommend stopping in to Swift Frame for your framing needs. Erik will do whatever he can to make you happy and won’t overcharge.

I live in Hillcrest and initially looked into shops that were closer to my immediate area. However, I jumped on Unilocal and found Swift Frame. My first interaction with Erik was positive but I in no way did I expect the above and beyond vision and quality of work. He took trinkets we acquired from our travels and made them look immaculate. He also did two additional flat pieces that could have easily been dismissed or overdone. He gave them the right look and feel without breaking the bank.
Don’t live close? Make the trip, it’s worth it!

I have to agree with all the other positive reviews. Erik took a rolled up piece of art that had been sitting in my closet for 3 years and turned it into something really beautiful. He also offered really helpful suggestions and upgrades (that he didn’t ask me to pay for) that made a couple other pieces I was having framed look amazing. I will definitely return for all of my framing needs.

I received a tapestry/​embroidery piece of a Japanese deity from my Aunt. Unfortunately, the piece was damaged in transit from Japan. Erik was able to remount the piece and preserve the signature in the process. The final frame was a shadow box arrangement that made a perfect display.

I am very pleased to see that Erik’s reputation is as high for others as it is for me. I have used his framing service for probably 10 years. Erik will discuss with you the best way to frame your artwork, and make many valuable suggestions. The work is always perfect and the price is reasonable.

Yep, this place did not disappoint. Thank you Unilocal!A little tricky to find but it’s a true hidden gem. Thank you Erik for your awesome framing job on my California print! He helped me pick out different frames and snapped/​emailed pics of each combo so I could show my husband before we committed to one. He said I was welcome to leave the print with him or bring it back when we’d decided… something I appreciated so much as it meant he wasn’t pressuring me to use his services. I could have just rolled it up and gone to Michael’s to pay 150% of Swift’s prices. He emailed a price quote for each frame as well as the cost of getting it matted. The prices were very reasonable and it looks fantastic. I’m so happy I took my frame job to him, I will definitely be back.

I had two pictures I wanted framed. One was a Rock N Roll poster that I didn’t want to be done real expensive, and the other was a WWII picture with my father-​in-​law, so effectively a vfery special family heirloom. I gave Erik the picture on a Monday and asked for it to be done on Thurs. He got them done by Wednesday. Both were done extremely well and within my expectations. Actually the WWII picture well exceeded my expectations. Erik was even very helpful in advising me about how to preserve other pictures that I didn’t have framed.

Erik is extremely professional and easy to work with. His work is superb and I would recommend him to anyone.

I’ve been using Erik now for the past couple of years. I can’t speak highly enough of his professionalism and quality of work. He has gotten to know us as an organization, and truly bends over backwards to help us out. I would recommend Erik and Swift Frames to anybody within a 100 mile radius!

What an excellent and extremely helpful place!

Today I was completely blown away by Swift Frames, and it’s manager/​framer Erik. I found this frame shop because I had ordered a frame offline that did not come with any hardware to keep the picture in the frame or to hang it up. Not only did Erik help me make my picture frame hang-​able, he did it all for free! He even wiped down my plexiglass for me and tried to buff out a scratch that I had accidentally put into the glass. I will never go to another shop again for picture frames, and if you are looking for quality customer service and outstanding options with frames you need to come here!

I just had my first set of photos matted and framed with Swift Frame. Erik did a FANTASTIC job. I appreciated the time he took to discuss different options with me. He is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. His prices are much more reasonable than Aaron Brothers plus you get to support local small business. The finishing of the matting and frames is superb. I will definitely be coming back for more framing in the future!

I started working with Erik while at a previous employers for some of our corporate art and was never disappointed. I now use him personally, having recently worked with him on framing a historical document that belonged to my grandparents. He is absolutely the BEST. Always on time, great recommendations, and great prices. You really can’t go better than Erik and Swift Frame!

Great experience and extremely reasonable especially if you compare them to all of the other crazy prices from framers in North County. A little tricky to find, but I’m sure the obscure location helps keep prices down. I went in for something really simple and was in and out with my glass and frame fixed in 10 minutes… that’s service!
