Taylor Egan has been cutting my hair for the last couple years and I couldn’t be happier with her services. I have really low maintenance, thin, can’t-handle-a-blowout type of hair, and she’s very accommodating with my minimal needs. She lets me pop in and out for quick trims, and is very reasonably priced.
That said, I’ve sent many friends to her that have more exciting hair needs, and they all love her, too!
Tanglez is a really cute little neighborhood type of salon. The owner bakes cookies every day for her patrons, and you’re likely to see at least one person hanging out there long after their salon appointment had ended just to catch up on the neighborhood gossip. I love coming to Tanglez, and hope that Taylor stays in the neighborhood for a long time!

I was referred to Jessica by a friend and Jessica did not let me down. Tanglez is a warm and comfortable environment where they also offer you beer and wine and homemade cookies! This was my first time seeing Jessica but she knew exactly what to do with my hair after I told her. The final product was absolutely beautiful and am in love with my new hair do! If you’re a first time customer you receive $ 10 off. The overall price for the haircut and color was very reasonable. I recommended this salon and especially Jessica.

Got my hair done with Sarah this past Wednesday. It’s my second time going to her & she was just as amazing as the first time … Such a friendly person. The first time I did like a black cherry all over. This time I did sort of like a red ombré, it didn’t come out as bright as I wanted, but that is not on her at all because I didn’t want to bleach. It still came out very nice. I’m not disappointed with it at all. I definitely will be seeing her again when it’s time :) thanks Sarah ! I’ve been getting a lot of compliments on my hair ! Her work & customer service is awesome. I have no complaints :)

Sarah Gordon is a rock star! I had been feeling frustrated with my a line hair cut for a few months. I decided to give Sarah a visit and OMG, I am so grateful I did. She seriously takes her time making sure you are completely satisfied with your hair. I honestly have never had a hair stylist that took great care and time to achieve a desired outcome. She even takes her time washing and massaging your scalp (my favorite). She also specializes in hair color and I have seen her magic! I have never colored my hair in fear that it would turn out funky, however I plan on having her color my hair in the near future. I highly recommend Sarah as she is very versatile in her art of cutting hair!

I have had my hair cut and colored by Susi for over 15 years and I have never gotten a bad haircut, never! I get compliments on my cut and/​or color often and am always happy to recommend Susi. If she is booked there are several other stylists — the staff is friendly and talented. I love the vibe here, and there is always cookies, cake, or bread (usually homemade, a nice personal touch.) I would send anyone to this salon! Oh, and If they aren’t available to answer the phone, I always get a call back.
I just had my hair layered today and I couldn’t be happier! Thank you Tanglez :)

I really didn’t know where to get my hair cut. I decided to come here because it’s close to my house. What a great decision! I love my hair cut! Sarah did a really good job and she’s super friendly. I will definitely come back.

Sarah transformed my hair! My hair was dull, flat, way too long and a mix of 3 different shades of brown. She cut it and dyed it the perfect dark brown color I wanted, and left me with beautiful healthy bouncy hair. She even gave me great tips on how to add more volume to my flat hair. I found Sarah through a Groupon but I will definitely be back to see her!

So yes there are times when the parking situation is horrendous, but Jessica T will make up for it! Her haircuts are on point and she is seriously on of the nicest, most real human beings I’ve ever known. Everyone in the building is kind, and the atmosphere is like a small town salon where everyone knows each other. Just go, and schedule with Jessica. She won’t do you wrong!

Sarah was an amazing stylist! Just got a simple haircut & it was more than I could ask for. Cheap price and great results! I would highly recommend her.

I wanted to write this, cause I came in as a walk-​in with my son. The two ladies who were kind enough to help us at the desk were nice to try and fit my son in, but the appointment was too late for the time I was looking for. 5 stars because they were kind enough to try.

My third time at this salon with Taylor as my stylist. I love my hair every time. It took me sometime to find stylist I liked and I will be coming back.

Sarah is amazing!!! I have light blonde hair and have a hard time finding a stylist who can make my hair the color blonde I want and Sarah can do it! She is amazing with color! Plus she always has amazing hair herself! Sarah is the best! Highly recommend!!!

I have been growing out a pixie/​fohawk cut for about 4 – 5 months now and going for a trim has been horrible. All the other stylists did a crappy job or would stare at me blankly not understanding what I wanted. I wondered in to this salon and not only were they SUPER sweet and nice but they attended me VERY quickly too! I got to have Taylor cut my hair and she was AWESOME! Going back again and again! I totally recommend them plus they have COOKIES! Fresh & homemade! Lol

I had not colored my hair in 10 years. I had never been to this salon and chose them based on the reviews. Taylor colored my hair and did a great job, it looks beautiful. All the lady’s were very welcoming and friendly. I would definitely recommend this salon.

Sarah gets 5 stars for being able to put some purple color in my dark asian hair. She was very kind, patient, and attentive and put about 4.5 hours of work into bleaching and coloring.
Unfortunately, there was some disturbing talk I overhead by another older stylist. There were some racial remarks and insensitive comments about homeless people that were made but I’m sure that her comments don’t reflect the opinions of the entire salon. While she wasn’t talking to me, I’d hope the stylists would be at least more sensitive to such topics when working.

Not much to say except how incredibly happy I was with my haircut by Taylor! The location is small but welcoming, and can see why there’s so many positive reviews.
I have extremelyy curly hair, and a lot of it. Its difficult to work with, so I usually am not too picky and don’t have too high of expectations (just gets straightened 99% of the time anyways). I go with what the stylist suggests and don’t ask any questions except to have the lion mane thinned out a bit.
I was in good hands with Taylor, she managed to make my crazy fro manageable and took the (very long and arduous) time give me a great blow out.
The amount of time and care that goes into it can’t be beat for such a great price, with no excessive chatter or attempts to upsell their services or products.

After a groupon deal sent me on a wild goose chase, I was referred to Sarah and she was able to give me a consultation the same day, and fit me into her schedule the next.
I had a purple ombré in mind, and with my curly, dark hair, it became an all day process (seriously, at least 7 hours).
Sarah trudged through: bleaching, washing, straightening, blow drying, sectioning for coloring, rinsing and anything else you could imagine necessary.
The results were/​are beautiful (I’ll try to get some pictures from her and post them).
Almost two weeks have passed and my purple ombré is as bright as ever!
