The same thing happened in Burlington VT. They actually offered to reimburse us, however, 5 months later and after sending 3 emails, I am still awaiting a response or reimbursement.

I wouldnt even give them a one star rating. DO NOT REGISTER FOR ANY UGLY DOG EVENTS (
) through imATHLETE. They canceled a 5K run in March and still haven’t refunded my money after numerous emails exchanges with them. Extremely PISSED!!! I contacted imathlete just to find out they are just the middle person. The Take on The Night Run was cancelled months ago and no refund. By all means, turn away!!!

This is to inform you that your registration has been cancelled for the Take On The Night — SoCal. You receive a discount code for another one of their events. Can you say RIP OFF!!.
These guys create running and obstacle course events. They get people to register for them. Charge all sorts of money ($ 45-​$ 75) and then cancel giving you a discount code for another one of their events which they also cancel.
JUST SAY NO TO EVERY EVENT THESE RIP OFF ARTISTS PUT ON! Go to

Three of us paid for the Muddy Mama event, which was canceled. I followed their instructions for a refund and still have received nothing. They don’t answer phone calls, emails, snail mail… terrible, terrible business practices. Stay away!
