The WORST. Totally unethical owner. Not surprising they shut down.

Disgraceful. They sold holiday gift cards in 2015 and then shut down immediately afterward, at the beginning of 2016. Their website has disappeared, and they will not respond to any requests or comments on their remaining social media pages, so apparently that money spent is just gone — in the owner’s pocket. There was talk of them opening a location in Arizona according to their Instagram account. If they do, I hope they refund money to their paying customers and that potential clients see these reviews and are forewarned.
It takes a lot for me to give a business one star, but honestly. This is so unethical and gross.

Very disappointed. I purchased a gift certificate to this salon for Christmas (December 2015) for a family member and then come January, the salon has already closed. Their social media sites are down. Their website is «under construction.» No contact information whatsoever that I can find. I was told from the previous owner that the new owner would be reaching out to all gift card holders and I have yet to hear a peep. PLEASE, Va-​Va Varnish. If you’re out there, reach out to all of paying customers to at least make contact!

Love this place! Everyone is so talented, and sweet here, completely different than any other nail salon out there. Veronica did my gel enhancements, and they are BEAUTIFUL. Hands down I have never experienced such quality and professionalism in a nail salon environment. They are the best of the best by far. I will never go anywhere else!

Come here if you want somethimg special, if you’re looking for flashly japanese style nail art this is HEAVEN!
Just know heaven is gonna cost you… Time and money.
Also this is a draught friendly salon, no water jets and luxury foot baths here… And it’s A-​ok with me!
Also the nail tech’s here all speak great english, which is AWESOME because they all have fantastic personalities and lovely style, so who wouldn’t want to talk to them about it???

I got gel extensions from Veronica and love them! They are super clean and symmetrical. After going here I don’t plan on going back to the nail shop I was going to before. Service and atmosphere was very impressive.

I absolutely love Vava Varnish. I’ve been to their old and new location, both had an amazing atmosphere. Their new location is quiet, personal, and so cute. I received a manicure and pedicure with a gel add on. My nails were extensions and the nail art is to die for. Veronica was kind, and thoughtful throughout my appointment. I told her it had been awhile since I’ve gotten a pedicure, and that I was ticklish so she tried her best to make it relaxing and soothing. My nails came out adorable.
