West Rental Management

Do not rent from them! They would not even put up screens on windows at 2 locations! They are not part of the BBB! They allowed tenants to move in to a house that had rats. Neighbor complained that their were rats! Another house is invested with mice & hazardous wires. Neighbors across the street said house caught on fire a year ago & they believe it was due to west rental not fixing problem correctly! these people just want your money they will not take care of you & could careless about your family! Have ignored constant maintenance requests from many tenants. they note is as completed & don’t call the tenant! Please do not rent from them. Do not allow them to get away with illegal actions just because people rent from them that are low income! they will not take care of you!

I’ve been renting from WRM for about 4 months now and I just wanted to send a shout out to say thank you for being so responsive and making renting hassle-​free. I’ve never had a management company so thorough with follow up and handling my maintenance requests. I have my rent set up on autopay so I don’t have to worry about forgetting and someone always picks up when I call. Would highly recommend if looking for a place to live.

I rented a property management boutique property for 1 year-​my first year in SD to be specific. I found them to be very cordial and polite always in our calls, meetings and showings. They responded promptly to my questions or maintenance requests. Lastly, I found them to be fair and timely in their end of lease inspections and assessments. I had my deposit check back within a week. My experience with PMB was pleasant and therefore I would recommend their properties and services.

I recently decided to move, and as I was searching for apartments online, i ran into this so called property management company. On their website they had pictures of a decent size apartment/​condo, with all the amenities I was looking for. I called to set an appointment and was told to leave a message, that someone from their staff would contact me. Someone did call, 3 days later, left a message on my voicemail stating they would be showing the property at 4pm. That would have been fine any other day, but i didn’t get off work till 8 that night. I called the next morning to find out when they would have the next showing and again they asked me to leave a message and someone would contact me. I’ve sent them a few emails during the week, It’s now almost 2 weeks later and i have yet to hear from them. I called this morning and the apartment is still available. :(

After looking for weeks on craigslist for a place to live, I finally found a rental I was interested in. I called the property management boutique and they set up a showing for me that day! The apartment was sparkling clean and when I asked about pet and HOA policies, they were very knowledgeable and helpful. I knew the place was legit and I didn’t have to worry about being scammed or getting ripped off with fees. Sam and Pat were very responsive to any questions I had and when I decided to sign the lease, the process was super fast and I didn’t have to lift a finger.
I’m used to a nosy and obnoxious landlords but PMB made it so easy! They were professional every step of the way and I was even able to sign the lease and pay rent online. They took care of everything so I didn’t have to. It’s that kind of convenience that will keep me renting with PMB. Thanks guys!
