The West Wing Food Court is the small little aside to the downtown San Diego Hall of Justice that is on your left hand side as you enter into the building for whatever reason. Today, I took a peak while waiting in line to get security clearance and noticed that yes, the Asian Bistro has disappeared. But thank goodness Subway Sandwiches and a Mexican place is still there. That Subway can have upwards of 25 – 30 people in line when the courts close for lunch between 11:30 — 1:30 pm! Half your lunch period is up by the time you get to the front of the line and order your sandwich! I think I spied out some healthy food offering in this leased food court. I am just grateful to have some place close by to go grab something to eat while you tediously surf the internet on your high-speed provided Court Wi Fi and await the surety of getting thrown off yet another jury seating! Thank you for the West Wing Food Court because the honor of doing one’s «civic duty» is always made more bearable by some fresh coffee and a nearby tamale plate!
