If I could leave negative stars I would. I bought a pair of headphones at my local Military exchange, and within two months the port that connects to my phone was giving off static, then one or both of the ear buds would quit out. Tried to contact customer care for X-1 but apparently they are no longer a working business. I tried several other devices with my phone and it is NOT my phone. Unfortunately the receipt got thrown out with the bag, so I could not return them to the exchange.

I have to hand it H20 Audio for their great customer service. About 5 months ago, I bought a waterproof ipod armband and a pair of the headwrap waterproof sport headphones. I used them a few times to kitesurf and work out. The armband case was awesome, but the headphones were crackling a bit and sometimes cutting out completely. Initially, I began to simply convince myself that waterproof headphones shouldn’t be expected to be perfect because they are, after all, waterproof. So I should just deal with it. So I basically stopped using them all together and even considered buy a new pair, but I thought first, I should contact their support team because maybe they’ll honor a warranty. I’m hate to complain so I usually avoid warranty conversations all together, but I wrote a simple email explaining my situation, figuring the worst they could say was no. It was after all, 5 months after I purchased them. Alas, they responded almost immediately with a list of troubleshooting tips that might solve the problem. In the same email, they provided a RMA number so that if the troubleshooting didn’t work, I could send the headphones in for repair or replacement(office is in San Diego). They were super nice and said they expect their gear to function properly with typical use, jokingly saying that they don’t replace a pair that was left at the gym or chewed up by my dog. When the troubleshooting tips didn’t work, I sent the headphones to their office and after a week, I received an email letting me know that a replacement pair was being mailed out tomorrow and they appreciated me «hanging in there with them.» I got the headphones today and I’m super grateful. They work amazingly, just as they should. I don’t feel like I had to «hang in there» at all really… after all, they honestly kept their word on a one year warranty. I am very happy with my purchase and the customer service that followed. Thank you Audio H20!

Great products and the customer service team is head and shoulders above all others. If you’re looking for a great pair of headphones or a waterproof system to protect your ipod or other device while swimming, surfing, give them a chance. You will be very happy you did.
