Yogi Mami

I’m constantly asked how I’m feeling this pregnancy compared to my last. Well I feel amazing this pregnancy and don’t have any of the aches or pains as I had with my first. (Even with a toddler to run after) I know every pregnancy is different but I attribute it to attending Yogi Mami’s prenatal yoga classes every week from the beginning.
Not only is it mentally healing but it keeps my body feeling amazing. I believe it also helps me sleep better.
Being pregnant it’s so easy to use an excuse to sleep or veg out but honestly the more you move the better you will feel. Yogi Mami’s class is the perfect balance of challenging and relaxing. I feel like I’m getting a great workout and restoring my body!

I’ve taken several classes with Victoria. Most recently I took the prenatal class again when pregnant with my second child. The prenatal class is AMAZING! I seriously don’t know how I would have survived by pregnancies without it. Victoria is a calming force and her class and meditation provide the perfect environment to escape it all and take some time to focus on the miracle called life. Most effective is that she starts every class by asking what pain or ailments you might have and then actually caters the whole class to these issues. It’s a really personalized touch and super beneficial to ensuring that you get the most from your time with her. I highly recommend any of her classes and can guarantee you won’t be disappointed.

Victoria’s prenatal yoga is a MUST if you are pregnant! This became my favorite escape because I always felt so good during and after. From the pregnancy-​specific poses and stretches to the meditations and head/​neck massages during shavasana, it is like a special retreat just for you. Victoria’s style makes you feel very comfortable and she even focuses on any areas you need help with (digestion /​ligament pains /​sciatica /​etc.). It is also refreshing to be surrounded by other preggos going through the same thing because you can talk about your pregnancies all you want. If there are any questions about pregnancy/​birthing, you can ask her! I always looked forward to these classes and I am sure you will too.

All I can say, is Victoria is amazing! I took her prenatal yoga series at the end of my pregnancy in 2013 and it quickly became my favorite activity of the week. I had never been so excited about Mondays! The prenatal yoga series was also so helpful in relaxing my body, dealing with the aches and pains of pregnancy, and preparing for labor and delivery of my daughter. I had an incredibly easy delivery and my husband and I both attribute it to the work I did with Victoria in her prenatal yoga series. This weekend, I also took Victoria’s mama baby yoga workshop! It was so much fun getting to work with the babies and even do a little work on ourselves. Victoria is an incredible teacher and I highly recommend any of her classes or workshops to everyone!

I love love love Victoria! I first met her when she offered a prenatal yoga series. I did a six week session with her during my third trimester and my only complaint is that it didn’t last longer! Victoria is a fabulous and talented yogi. She is calm, relaxed, patient and attentive to her yoga students needs and limitations. I have now also now done a mommy and me yoga session with her and my baby boy– just as good! She also always plays great jams during her sessions. I highly recommend her services. :)

Yogi Mami was extremely helpful while preparing me for the birth of my son. She taught me techniques in relaxation and meditation. She helped me keep my body strong and flexible through my pregnancy. I was able to go to her with any questions or concerns and she always had great advice and made me feel at ease. Yogi Mami was by my side through my whole labor and pushing process and I’m happy to say that she really kept me calm and relaxed yet completely motivated during the most special moment of my life! I got the chance to take Yogi Mami prenatal yoga class when I was in my third trimester. Working in the corporate world, I wanted to take a prenatal class that would help me relax, stay fit and bond with other pregnant women who were also stressing about becoming parents.
Yogi Mami class helped me address these issues with the following exercises: stretching exercises, mental centering and focused breathing. These exercises reduced my stress and anxiety, increased my strength, flexibility and endurance of muscles for my child birth, and decreased the lower back pain that I had been experiencing.
I highly recommend taking Victoria class because, not only does she make you feel comfortable right from the beginning of class, but she also emits a fantastic energy during the entire class. She is calm, knowledgeable and great at reading people. She also gives individual attention and provides great advice.
