Came here last night, having a cheat meal day. Around 630. everything was pretty empty, no crab legs, everything cold and bottom of the barrel, I only had 1 plate I felt sick to my stomach just eating a few things, the server reached across our table to fill the napkins and then reach across again to fill soy sauce, I used to be a server and that is just not something you do, you usually wait till a table leaves to refill items not reach across while were eating, I got a cookie for dessert, took 1 bite tasted like sandpaper, they just don’t make buffets out here like the east coast :/

I was excited to come here as I had heard mix reviews but for the most part good. Well went today for lunch. Not really anything special. Pretty good variety, however it seemed like the food was very much«buffet» food. None of the dishes had any real flavor to them. Then let’s talk about the sushi. Ummm… Maybe let’s not. Wow talk about disappointing eel was VERY fishy tasting. They had I think a selection of about 4 or 5 rolls the only one with any real flavor was the Philadelphia roll. The«sushi» they had looked old and like I said tasted really fishy. Everything in this place seemed bland and just in need of freshening up. For now it’s just ok.

Only decent buffet I’ve found around the area. Not the greatest food or shiny clean, but good if you are like me and want some variety.

Good food quality overall. Do not understand why the average rating is only 3. It should be rated at least 4 stars. Ice cream is soft and flavorful with cones. Prime rib is juicy and tender. Chinese food is above average(not heavily seasoned). Also Noteworthy are all the shrimp dishes, fish wrapper thingy. Like I said, it’s all good for a $ 14.95 per adult buffet! Cannot beat the quality/price ratio!

Food is not bad, I like a couple of them a lot(prime rib and teriyaki chicken), price is reasonable also. Reason for my 2 stars… The waiter is lazy as hell, the first time we saw him was the last time, never refilled our drinks, never took our used plates. Not over exaggerating, but 10 tables around us that are done 30 mins ago are still left dirty.

Enjoyed this buffet very much, a nice find! Crab legs were good and meaty, great honey chicken, food was fresh and hot! The server was very nice and attentive and friendly and yummy soft serve ice cream was nice and creamy(not thin and icy)! :) I also enjoyed a bit of flan that was pretty tasty!

Not the best 3 star Asian buffet at dinner $ 15.99 I arrived 8:30 pm, they supposed to be open until 9:30 pm. There was no oysters anywhere to be found. The clams in black bean sauce was all gone, I got one clam and a few pieces of onions and green bell pepper. The fried shrimp was full of batter and dry. The fried fish was dry and tough. There was only a few crab legs left, I am glad that I at least clean those out. The roast beef was almost all gone, looks tough and dry, I did not even try it. White rice was good, hot and sour soup was good. the guy at the front desk did not even look up as I was leaving. Do you think I will go again?

Great place to eat with the family. This place has a good variety of food, and the crab legs are awesome… Except they only take out a little at a time and then you have to wait a while for the next batch of crab legs.

Stopped by with my wife, while we were randomly looking for a place to eat after my brother-in-law’s graduation in San Diego and were unable to find parking in the Gaslamp District. I had my misgivings, but the variety and taste was better then expected. A large selection of foods and a friendly atmosphere. Very crowded so apparently quite popular with the locals. Not great but hunger satisfying food. I’d come back for a return visit.

3 Stars not soooo much. I’d give it 4 stars for what it is trying to be! A Chinese food buffet on Midway dr. Honestly, it’s probably the only and best chinese food buffet in the area. I’m a big fan of chinese food buffets so I’m pretty easy going about it. This place has all the regular options and a sushi bar. The thing about buffets: If you come here expecting stellar service or the best quality food you are definitely setting yourself up for disappointment and not giving this place a fair shot. You are paying a little over $ 10 for all you can eat. The place is big, clean, and has a large variety. The staff is polite, fast at clearing your table of plates, and quick to get you the check(which is pretty much all you can ask for from a chinese buffet at this price). Overall: This place does the job that they set out to do for the price and they do it well. I go there often and have for a long time and I will continue to go back probably until the day it shuts down years and years from now(if ever). Recommended for all you chinese food buffet lovers out there.

Not that I had super high expectations for a Chinese buffet to begin with, but nothing at Yummy Buffet was any better edible. There were a few exceptions and a few items which were worse. I would steer clear of the sushi which has funny tasting rice and off colored fish. The calamari was overcooked, the lo mein was DISGUSTING which I am not sure why since I would guess that is one of the easiest dishes to make. Even the pizza was unpleasant. On the positive side of things, they had a pretty tasty coconut shrimp dish, good orange and honey chicken. Although it sounds weird, the tastiest thing was their seafood cheese bread. The ice cream was a nice little ending. Here’s my tip; don’t go to Chinese buffets

The buffet is decent. It’s pretty cheap, so you can expect the food to be about the same. A lot of Chinese buffet favorites, and I tend to be a fan of the sushi bar. Customer service is pretty rough. I’ve been there numerous times and the waitresses seem suspicious of everyone for some reason. The low star is due to my last encounter. My lady and I had a good meal, and took our check up to the front counter to pay. The girl at the counter was busy on her smart phone, and paid no attention to us. So I dropped the bill and our money plus a healthy tip and said thank you. As I was starting the car, our waitress ran up, and started writing down our license plate number. She said we didn’t pay. At this point my brief distaste for the lady up front turned into me swearing off this place. When we told the lady our story, she said«Well, I’m going to have to check on it». Get your life in order folks. The food may be good, but if your staff is too busy candy crushing to take our money, we will take it elsewhere.

I had my daughter’s baptism reception here. Food was alright but their customer service sucks. They were nice to my guests not until everybody was done eating the waiter demanded for tip. I told him I didn’t have enough for tip because I spent $ 600. Everybody all went out and were just chatting outside and the same waiter came out again demanding tip from my guest. It didn’t say on the receipt that tip was required so they had no right to do that to my guest. They just lost so many customers. My cousin comes here a few times and she always leave tips but after what happened she’s never coming back. She was also planning her reception here but not anymore . To the owner: next time put a sign or something on the receipt stating that tip is required !

This place was decent. We came on a Sunday, so it was the maximum price. I like to try a bit of everything and I think they did okay but there was not a single dish that stood out to me. The sushi chef looked like he did not want to be there at all. I asked which rolls did not have raw fish and he just gestured to all of them. Maybe he didn’t understand me? The kept our drinks filled and our table clear. Overall I walked away with just one compliant. The honeydew was bad. It was horrible and I couldn’t eat it. Keep your fruit fresh, please, especially when you don’t have a very big selection of it.

We were trying to get good food with a decent price so we decided to give yummy buffet a try since we always drive by it. My boyfriend got sick and the food had no flavor. On top of that 15 per person charge? With few food options? By far this is one of the worst buffets anyone can go to Please anyone reading this, stay away from this buffet! It should be called yucky buffet instead

Okay buffet with variety for everyone’s tongue. However, be careful by selecting your foods. I know it’s hard to tell if something is recently prepared or not, but just squeezing, and looking carefully while picking your foods will help. A lot of food that’s not preserved a lot, just sit there all day. I always come to this place if I am not on the same line with my friend what we should eat. The better thing to do avoiding getting fat, and keeping the prices more decent is getting the food to go for 6,49USD per lbs at dinner time.

Yummy??? not sure what’s yummy about this place. Its aight. I do tear up their crawfish… now thats yummy in my tummy. This place isnt too bad. its convenient to go here since its down the street from my hood and its the closet buffet. All the workers are friendly — my friend and i arrived maybe 45mins before closing and they still made a fresh batch of crawfish for us. Extra Star! You get 10% when you check in(i think) but there is a discount… Annnnndddd you get 10% cash back when you pay through your MOGL account :) They have a lot of selections to choose from… one station is Asia, 2nd station is America(chicken, french fries, roast beef), 3rd station is Italy(Pizza, Pasta, etc), 4th station seafood, 5th station salad bar, 6th station sushi and lastly 7th heaven… desserts!!!

Everything was fine until I ate a cream puff. The first taste to come in my mouth was blue cheese, as I was complaining about its awful taste(I love blue cheese but I wasn’t really expecting that in a cream puff), my friend looked at the remaining half and told me it has mold in it, the smell was also repelling. After letting the waiters know, they gave us a 20% discount and claimed the fault was on the company delivering them the pastries… never going back there. They shouldn’t have charged us! They’re cheap! Making you eat cream puff with mold and letting you pay. How awful is that!
