Don’t depend on this place if you need a large order. My sister in law spoke to Sam and placed a large order for her son’s FIRST birthday party. They delivered the pizza on time which is why they get at least 1 star. But when they came they did not give us what we ordered. We ordered 2 extra large pizzas, 4 large pizzas, and 2 catered sized salads for $ 47 each. We were quoted $ 214 total. Sam even repeated the order back to her. What we got was 5 large pizzas, 1 small and paid for the salads $ 55 each. He let us deduct the difference from the salads but still ended up paying $ 214 for less food. The delivery guy offered to get us the pizzas but it’s already too late. The place where the party is only allows us to be here for a certain amount of time. This place is a joke. Thanks for nothing.

So this place has been hit and miss over the last 2 years. Service has never really been great and food it totally hit and miss I love that they have GF crust. I either create my own or do a cheese and get pesto on the side, so yummy. Now I’ve had instances where my pizza had been so over cooked it was way too hard to eat and I’ve also gotten wings that were under cooked, we pretty much stopped coming here after that.

They seem to have gone down hill over the last year or two. Every time I go in they have only pepperoni and cheese slices available. And kind of expensive on top of that. I would love to have a nice place to get a good slice close by. This isn’t it.

After ordering the«Take and Bake» pizza and waiting over 30 minutes, we were told they didn’t have the necessary assemblage they needed to provide for us to cook it at home so our only option was to have them bake it on site. Really bad customer service!!!

I had a very lovely email from one of the store employees, I believe the owner, and it was very nice and courteous. She apologized profusely, and honestly, that made me feel really good that someone took the time and actually cared about my experience. With that said, I was invited back for another slice, and this time,(around 3ish), the slice was very-very good. Pepperoni. It was hot, thin, not greasy at all – usually the case at a lot of places. I would say – if you want a good slice for lunch, or even for dinner – try this place. The people there are nice – they truly and honestly care about your experience. Yay for Z Pizza!

My bf and I each ordered the 2 slices and a drink for $ 7. The slices are small for the price and the pizza was actually nasty. We were simple with it and got pepperoni… how do you mess up pepperoni pizza? Something is just off about the taste. The sauce taste funny. And the pizza was hard. FYI: my bf will eat anything, he is like a garbage disposal, even things I think are horrible. But for this pizza, he was disgusted and actually kept bugging me to write a review… says a lot.

I love this place, been getting za’s here for years but haven’t gotten around to writing a review until now. My favorite is the Berkeley, which is vegan. The staff is always friendly, and they’re quick too.

Not bad pizza. I didn’t even know it was some type of healthy alternative pizza. The customer service was great and I was in and outta there quickly. Just grabbed a slice to try it out and was pleasantly surprised. Good job!

This is my favorite tasting pizza in the area! I love the vegan and wheat crust options. The service isn’t the best though… One of the guys who usually works there has the worst customer service skills…

Really wanted to like this place as they offer organic and vegan options. Even though I am not vegan I like to incorporate vegan meals into my diet and have vegan family and friends. Pros 1. I ordered delivery and it was very easy to order online and delivery was fast. 2. They offer whole wheat crust and the crust was perfect for me. Little crispy on the outside and a little doughy/chewy which I love. For a whole wheat crust it is my favorite I have ever had. Cons 1. I ordered a small Provence pizza. Their tomato sauce(it is organic-that’s a pro) needs serious improvement. Very bland. No matter how great everything else is you can’t have good pizza without good sauce. And it’s so easy to do. Fix it! I’d be able to order pizza from here you did. 2. I ordered an antipasto salad and it was greatly disappointing. Two ingredients listed online in the description were not included. See photos… ZERO heirloom tomatoes(or any tomatoes for that matter) and ZERO fresh basil. Also, the Italian dressing tasted like it came straight out of a Kraft bottle. Artificial and disgusting. Thankfully, it looked bad to me so I tasted it before pouring it on my salad. If you are offering whole wheat, vegan, and organic options you are obviously trying to serve a health conscious crowd… your salads need to be on point, including fresh, or at least good dressings. Probably won’t try again. Very unfortunate as they are one of VERY few delivery options near me.

I paid $ 7 for 2 slices and a drink. One of the slices was cold, the other was kind of warm. Had an average taste at best. I would give it only one star but I reserve those for only truly terrible experiences.

For the price and how quick it is the pizza is good. I like that they have gluten free crusts and a good selections of toppings.

Ordered online and 90 mins later finally got my food(a pizza and a salad). The pizza was stone cold, the salad room temperature. It’s as if it sat on a shelf for 40 mins before they delivered it. It’s totally disappointing given the number of good reviews this place has. The flavor of my microwaved pizza was pretty good though it lost all of it’s crispyness and now tastes like day old pizza. The salad once re-cooled tasted good as well. Too bad the delivery service is so terrible. Unfortunately for me, that’s an extremely big deal and will most likely be a deal breaker keeping me from ever trying this place again.

Very good pizza for San Diego, and that coming from a native New Yorker. They deliver, a RARITY in Scripps Ranch. They even offer gluten free crust. You can custom order the toppings. They also have great salads and sandwiches. Delicious. They also take online orders which is a great convenience.

ZPizza is my favorite pizza place not just because their ingredients are super yummy, but they make the most delicious Vegan pizza in town with Daïya cheese. To all my vegan friends who have not discovered this pizzeria, you’ve got to try it out.

We used to enjoy the pizza from here regularly as does our toddler, until recently we have been experiencing food allergies and/or poisoning situations after eating there. My significant other broke out in a rash all over her body after consuming a gluten free crust vegetarian pizza there about a week ago that lasted a few days and I experienced a horrible headache for many hours until it was finally out of my system. Maybe they forgot to make our crust gluten free, or they changed some of their ingredients or quality, but we won’t be taking the risk again.

Quick healthier pizza alternative if you’re in a hurry. If not, fresh pizza will take about 10 minutes to make. They have vegan cheese =). Love their yuppie veggie sandwich & arugula salad. They used to have a cilantro lime type dressing, but I was told it was a promotional item. =7 Bring it back… pls!

zpizza is a small pizza parlor in the Vons shopping area. The options here are: salad, flatbread pizzas, sandwiches, pasta(2 options), and pizza/pizza classics like cheese and pepperoni. You can also build your own pizza = COOL! Sizes range from small(10″), large(14″), and extra large(18″). We ordered the small tuscan pizza and added chicken to it(the price of a small is $ 10.50, and the additional topping is $ 1.35). They made our pizza fresh, and we were chowing down within 10 mins. btw — the tuscan had roasted garlic sauce, truffle oil, caramelized onions, mushrooms, feta, and other pizaaaaaaazz. You can REALLY taste all the fresh ingredients, which was super yummy! You can also build your own pizza starting at $ 7.25. There’s a gluten free option too — but it only comes in the small size, which is good for 1 – 2 ppl. Overall? We’ll definitely be back to try more since we live nearby! There are 5 tables inside, seating 2 ppl at each table. Otherwise you can order to go :) oh, you can order by the slice too!
