Rite Aid

We walked in to get some ice-​cream and was greeted immediately by Amanda. She was very kind and helpful. Thank you Amanda you’re a cool cat!

Needed a prescription filled last week for my son. Rite Aid Pharmacy did not have the required amount needed for a 10 day prescription so they asked me to come back in a few days to receive the rest of my order. Ok, I did. Today my son needed another prescription and Rite Aid Pharmacy called to state they are out of the medication. They said I could go to the Rite Aid in Rancho Cucamonga to get the prescription or wait until tomorrow. I declined and called the pediatrician back to request a new pharmacy. Rite Aid Pharmacy in San Dimas needs to do a better job at stocking their medication. This time it cost them a customer.
Update, went to Walgreens to get my prescription filled, they are unable to fill since Rite Aid Pharmacy has already billed the insurance for a prescription they did not have. Doctors office had to call Rite Aid Pharmacy to cancel the order to allow it to be sent to a different pharmacy but still can’t get my prescription because of the «billing» error. So frustrating. Stay away from Rite Aid Pharmacy unless you want to get the run around and inefficient service.

I love my place of work! I was training at this location, but I must say they had excellent customer service and the store was super clean! I also loved the setup of this location! If you want excellent customer service and people who care about your wellness you definitely have to visit!

Pretty big store, and a good beer selection. I came here on a quick beer run, and the prices were fantastic. I will definitely come back someday if I am in the area.

Circus Animal Cookies Ice Cream!!!
I love Thrifty’s Ice Cream. It’s probably one of my most favorite places to get good cheap ice cream after a delicious meal. Anyways, my new obsession has become their Circus Animal Cookies Ice Cream. I had it last Tuesday and loved it so much I got it again on Friday and Sunday. But be aware, not all Rite Aids carry this flavor. So be sure to call ahead if you are interested in trying this flavor. Every bite into my ice-​cream was a flavor back to my childhood lunches. The best part is the actual chunks of circus animal cookies in the ice cream. Seriously if you love Circus Animal Cookies, you’ll love this ice cream! If I feel like getting sugar wasted I get double-​shots (scoops). This location has excellent customer service, organized and the pharmacy is quite helpful and quick on prescrptions.

Meh… It’s a drug store. For the most part people are friendly, and the store is clean. Just don’t try to take one of their shopping carts outside. Apparently, they are deathly afraid of you stealing their shopping carts and turning them into barbecues. I purchased a bunch of stuff and started rolling my cart out the door. The cashier ran around the counter and told me I couldn’t take the cart outside. WTF?
Was I supposed to carry everything out to my car piecemeal? She asked me if I wanted help carrying my stuff out. Now, I am a reasonably healthy male, but it cheesed me off that they would not allow to use their cart to carry the stuff I just bought from their store out to my car. I told her damned right I want help. After about three minutes some guy comes over and asks if I want help. Expecting that he would have to physically carry everything in the cart to my car, I grinned and told him you bet!
So what does he do? He wheels the cart out to my car and patiently waits for me to unload it before wheeling it back to the store. Damn, I could have used a new BBQ.

Very generous with the ice cream!

Release my inner old Czech lady because I love this place! They have everything! Along with delicious ice cream! They’re super cheap, easy parking and I adore the sweet lil’ old ladies that work in there. I always feel like I’m taking a step back in time when going in here… And I love that.

Cherry chip ice cream and chocolate malted crunch ice cream. Worth a trip there any day!

If you need to buy an 18 pack of beer they are cheaper then any liquor store or groceryt store. Definatley recomened picking up some Thrifty Ice cream too!

As a rule, I don’t get worked up by reviewing pharmacies, but what the heck. I felt compelled to write about this location, only because it stands in such stark contrast to my local Rite Aid in Rancho Cucamonga, which is rather ghetto by comparison.
All of the displays are nicely stocked and kept, the floors are clean and the store is well-​lit, so you can clearly read labels, which is always a nice touch when you are buying medicines.

..there’s no better aid than their mint chip ice cream.
