I Drive 45minutes just to go there and when I go, I go all out I stock up my fridge for about 1 month!

I drove from Burbank to try this place out, after reading the Unilocal reviews, I thought I had found my new carne Asada spot. I was wrong! :(
I walked in and immediately turned around and walked out. I kinda felt bad for not giving them a chance but it looked dirty, smelled horrible and there were flies all over the place. Too bad cuz I’ve been looking for a carniceria to replace Vallarta.

Been living here in SFV for a little over 2years… I happen to drive by Ziggy’s on Fourth of July and noticed a line out the door!!! WTF! That HAS to be som good meat for there to be a line… So I went to check them out on Friday since my son turned 12 and he wanted me to BBQ for his birthday… Needless to say, I went back again today (Sunday)… The ranchera was PERFECT! No Gordo (fat) and nice and thin slices. When I buy 3 lbs of carne I don’t expect to cut out 1 lbs of fat…“ehem… (Coughing under my breath, Vallarta) «I don’t plan to be buying meat from Vallarta anytime soon… I hope this wasn’t a one off weekend because I plan on going back…

Just don’t go buy meat on special events like today they jack up the prices which is sad how they treat there customers and her we are given them 5 stars which is fine but after today the owner trying to still from the Poor. WOW.

Armenians love that Ranchera bbq. Love the way Ziggyz marinates all their meat. Food is always fresh and delicious. My go to spot when i want to have an awesome Mexican cookout.

Carnitas are the BOMB! Can’t get over them! Only thing is they open at 8am. Even though that’s a good time I get cravings early in the morning and I have to wait for them lol love it! Also the chorizo y always fresh!

Attention Gringos! This place is legit! Super friendly people here. The prepared chicken and carne asada here is the best in the valley. Trust me, I’ve tried a ton of different places and none of the can hold a candle to Ziggy’s. I bought 5lbs of both yesterday and its all gone.
Do yourself a favor and try them out.

Best meat market in the valley! The carne asada tastes like it was born in the finest marinades around, and the chorizo has got a nice kick that tastes like the carnicero was pissed off when he made it! Top it all off with a little market that makes this place a one stop shop for your next BBQ… don’t get much better than that!

Best carniceria in the valley especially their marinated chicken wangs. The price is the best and can’t beat their marinade. Just be prepared to wait in a long line during the weekends and especially during BBQ holidays. i.e. 4th of July, memorial weekend, etc. If you are a BBQ king or queen, you will definitely be one if you get your meats here!!!

This is the best Meat market in the north east San Fernando Valley!!! They have tons of customers, so they move their meat… he-​he. I’ve never been disappointed with their quality, but minus 1 star for being less than easy on the eyes. better meat market that Vallarta.

the meat at ziggys is always freakndelicious… must be the marination and good cuts… recommend the chicharon w meat. staff is always helpful
.only minus is that its small… i use to go to vallarta but the meat was always blan and the butchering was always amateur.
BEST chorizo ever! doesn’t cook up oily and has lots of flavor

Best meat in the Valley! Chorizo, Chuck Steak, Ranchera, and my new favorite costillas! Vegetables are ok just depends on what you like. I’d also recommend the chicharron! mmmmm :)
