Surprisingly bad wine for a ridiculous price. Don’t believe the hype. The owner is crazy and it shows in his poor quality wine. In a restauarant it’s often sent back. Nast stuff, don’t buy.

It’s nice to be able to visit such a great winery in the city instead of driving all the way up to Napa or Sonoma. The wines were very good across the board and we really appreciated the value-priced second label, Upside Wines. The winemaker that was pouring for us explained all about their process/wines and really won us over. I’d highly recommend heading over on a foggy day and trying some wine!

Pinot was sooo great — tried three of them as a flight. Server was a little weird, and even spilled the beans that the winery doesn’t profit off of tastings. Awkward, and no you’re not guilting me into purchasing a bottle. She also talked a lot of shit about how the mission used to be filled with syringes and«trannys»(her word, not mine). Let’s stick to tasting notes please!

There’s nothing quite like tasting great wine right at the place it’s created. This«urban winery» is the perfect example of one. Unpretentious and unassuming offering simply, tastes of vineyard-specific varietal pinot noir from the top sites. Don’t let the Stelvin caps fool you, these are serious wines capable of aging long term, with the scores and acclaim to back it up. Many producers source from these top vineyards but Andrew really crafts some amazing wine. If you only make it to SF or fly out of SF from a Napa/Sonoma trip, make this part of your itinerary before you leave the city. Well worth your time.

So fun! Pull up a seat at the open door garage and enjoy some fabulous Pinot Noirs!

A.P. Vin, perhaps my best find in years! Specializing in Pinot Noir and it shows. My absolute favorite Pinot that stands out with its unique flavors is the Clos Pepe Vineyard a must for anyone who enjoys Pinot. Additionally that are great finds are The Treat Cab’s and the Chardonnay. Small batch production guarantees refinement and close attention to detail, clearly Andrew puts his heart and soul into each production.
