A solid haircut for a good price. Angel Galindo worked hard to make my son look good. You can call and make appointments. You can come and wait. It’s a working-class barbershop in one of the few working class neighborhoods left in San Francisco. Super clean lines: scissors and clippers followed by the straight razor. You want fades and fancy, sculpted shapes? Got them. Want a classic man’s cut? they have those too.

Just got my haircut for the first time since I moved here in the United States. The Gentleman who cut my hair earlier got the exact hair cut I have for years back home. Thank you, Sir! I will surely come back and I recommend this place for a great haircut. 5 Stars!

Just moved to the neighborhood from the Mission. The hardest thing for a dude go find in a new neighborhood is a good barber. On a trip to the hardware store, I see this old school looking shop. A few days later, I walked out with a cheap, solid haircut. Perfect, just perfect.

I agree w/Marcos J. I don’t know who cut me, but it may have been Val. He seemed like he was in a hurry to get back to his web surfing as there were no other customers in the shop. Not a complicated cut, 0 on the sides and trim the top… both ended up uneven. I’ll give it a 2nd chance w/Marty next time. $ 18 + $ 2 tip = $ 20 for 3 weeks of bad hair. If I got a better fade, I would have given it 2 $, not 3 $

Good old fashioned barbershop. your typical neighborhood barbershop with all the talk between customers and barber. Marty has done a good when I got a cut from him. Val sucked and always left holes on my hair not cool. I tried him twice and same results and seems he is always in a hurry. does look like a community of people gather here and it cracks me up when they check out ever lady that passes by.

There are very few good old-fashioned barber shops left in San Francisco. This is one of them. The guys that cut hair there, Marty and Val, are barbers, plain and simple. They’re not hair stylists. I was looking for a barber shop after the one I had gone to for years closed due to increasing rents, when I first walked in this shop. The hair cuts are good, the neighborhood is full of characters and the prices are fair. If you looking for an old school barber shop, try this place out.

This is the neighbor hood barber shop. I have been taking my son since her was about 3 yrs old. I enjoy the people that come to the shop and also the employees. Very old school

Interesting I agree with everything in Dan B. ‘s review but I give them 4 stars instead of two. This is the epitome of an old school barber shop. All my boys have had their first haircut there and I’ve been going there since I moved into the neighborhood. It’s a neighborhood institution. A great place for a basic cut, they even try to deal with my oldest son’s desire to keep his hair longish. They are open from 7am 4pm weekdays, Saturdays are super busy and to be avoided if at all possible. If you must come in for a Saturday cut, come in early…

This is the epitome of an old school barber shop. You have this shabby corner shop with three or four chair inside and two barbers, Marty and Val, either hanging out or cutting hair. And these guys have a following of dudes who’ve probably been getting their cuts here since they were kids. It may not look like much but they’re not trying to impress anyone since they know they can cut hair right. It’s a good place for a basic cut. If you look closely enough, you may notice this place from a commercial or two. Or you could just ask Marty.
