Amazon Motel

don’t know how on earth the first reviewer could give this place three stars. it’s AWFUL. the only reason we stayed here was because it was close to our destination (we were using public transit) and it was cheap. thinking back, we should have just shelled out the extra thirty or so that would have got us a nicer place.
problem 1: positive the woman staying in the room next to us was a hooker. we kept getting men knocking on our door at all hours of the morning and then saying very rude things when we didn’t answer.
problem 2: horrible part of town. very janky; we made sure we were back before dark because it was incredibly scary.
problem 3: paper thin walls. this kind of goes along with problem 1 except we could also hear every person’s conversation down on the street below us as well.
problem 4: horrible management. check out was 11am but we wanted to leave asap so we went downstairs around 10 – 10:30am. no one was there. the door was locked, couldn’t get anyone on the phone. we didn’t know what to do so my friend simply threw our room key in the office via a hole in the door. yes, there was a hole in the door to the «loby».
I would never stay at this place again and advise all those who aren’t in «public service» to take shelter in san francisco elsewhere.

Me and my friend was looking everywhere for a motel to check into at 2 something and we discovered this place. It’s kinda funny and weird how they have swirls or whatever on each of the room doors as decoration haha. The motel room was okay though. I somehow fell asleep here for a few hours. Kinda weird because I can never fall asleep in motels, inns, or hotels. There’s free parking which is always nice. Not sure about the prices though because I’m not the one who paid.
