Great prices for catering events. The food was delicious as well. We needed a copy of our receipt post-event, and our emails were promptly responded to. Definitely recommend.

Solid place for FiDi lunch that generally does not have long lines. The sandwich toppings are generally good+(not great) but the bread is outstanding. I usually go with the roasted tomato, mozzarella and avocado but the few other sandwiches I’ve tried have been good, too. Also, if you’re feeling guilty there’s a great pastry/desert selection.

This place is good for lunch. Big salads, big sandwiches(toasted or not) which is great and the breads are freshly baked. Affordable lunch prices and gets crowded easily. Love the smell of baked goodies. They all look yummy. It’s quick, easy to order, and good food. One of the good places to eat around embarcadero for a quick bite if you’re on the go.

Stopped in for breakfast one morning because I was starving and the other place Boyfriend and I wanted to go to was packed. I got half a cheese danish and he got the ham and cheese croissant. It was your typical cheese danish — though I liked that you could order either half of one as opposed to their whole one because that was waaaay too large. I would come back again. Their danish wasn’t bad. I wish I had gotten their ham and cheese croissant that morning though. The danish just really wasn’t that filling. Unfortunately by the time I saw the croissant(and Boyfriend ordered it), I’d already put in my order and felt rude changing it. On an aside, I also totally received a Canadian quarter back as change that I didn’t notice until later on in the afternoon. You may want to check your change before walking out of the store!

Less envious. Grilled chicken and fruit salad was nowhere to be found: Perhaps a summer thing. Instead went with a satisfying BBQ chicken sandwich thing. Poulty. Sauce. Lettuce. Tomato. Wheat bread. Seven bucks. This was better than the previous turkey sandwich thing.

I work in 2 embarcadero center so I come to this place often just because it’s so convenient! Lucky for me, I think the food is pretty good. I can’t say I have tried that many items off their menu since I pretty much always get the spicy pepperjack turkey sandwich without cheese on wheat bread(I don’t like cheese. yes I know I’m weird!). The sandwich isn’t huge but I’m satisfied after I eat it. They also give you the option of a pickle or fruit as a side. I always get the fruit but I wouldn’t really consider it a side since they usually give you something like two grapes and an orange slice. I also love the creamy French! A baguette smothered in sweet custard goodness. It’s one of those things that I try to avoid getting since I try to stay healthy, but I often give into the temptation. One thing I’m not particularly a fan of here is the bagels. I find them overly soft and chewy, even when toasted.

I ordered a cake from Andersen Bakery for our office to celebrate an anniveray. It was very easy to create the cake online and the customer service at 2 Embarcadero is fantastic! I asked for the cake to be delivered within a 45 minute time slot and they came right on time. The cake was very nicely deocrated and the chocolate and raspberry flavors were very tasty. It’s a light and fluffy cake that’s not too sweet, so everyone enjoyed their piece and there were no leftovers on anyone’s plate. Friendly and fast service and a delicious cake, I’m definitely ordering from Andersen bakery again. thank you!

I’m a fan of Andersen Bakery. I love the Japantown and Tanforan Mall locations and was happy to find one opened in Embarcadero 2. I truly like the E2 location as it has plenty of seating for eating in. I love their sandwiches, particularly the California BLT(on ciabatta, no sprouts). A big calorie splurge but worth it. Their coffee and pastries are delicious and much fresher than the offerings at some of the popular coffee houses in the area. The staff is friendly and efficient. My new go-to place for a quick lunch.

I love how conveniently located this café is to my work. I only wish they were open on weekends since I do work on weekends and there isn’t much open in this area. But all in all the coffee is great, the food is great, the pastries are delicious, and the staff is very friendly and professional and always provide excellent customer service. 5 Stars All the Way!

I’m excited that this place moved into my office building. It really makes grabbing a quick sandwich, quick. The staff have been very friendly and I’ve enjoyed everything that I’ve tried thus far. The salad, however, is very pricey for what you get. $ 7.50 for a small bowl of mixed greens, a few tomatoes, cucumbers and croutons. While the dressing is fabulous and the quality is good, it’s just not very much. Something you might want to consider. You can actually walk to the 3 Embarcadero and build yourself a HUGE salad with all kinds of trimmings at Green Bar for less than $ 7.50. Just sayin… Stick with the sandwiches people, and you’ll be allllllriighhhhttt…
