just make sure to be a white person when you go there to buy something, because the ignorant racist guy wants only americans with california id to buy stuff from there. i cant believe there is people still that juges others based on the nationality. then while he was being racist to me he was charging me. and when i told him how rude he was, and that please i need my money back because i could not stand his comments, he told me «then dont come back» like if there is the only place i can buy. from what i know he is the one who needs my money. so please be aware that this person is really rude, ignorant, and racist.

I actually have a large collection of work shirts and heavy-duty jeans from here. It’s a great place to get them: not only is Arik’s within walking distance to my house, they’re also knowledgable and friendly. And they’ve got a great layout of handkerchiefs which always somehow sneak into my pile of clothes at checkout. Not a terrific collection of boots and other workwear for feet — or more accurately, there’s not much ever in my too-small-for-most size — but the gear they have is ace. Sadly, the clothes they specialize in are long-lasting, so I don’t have to come here as often.

Wow, I’ve always had good experiences at Arik’s in Bernal. Good service as well as a range of Levis, Dickies, Converse, etc. I go there first for work clothes.

I couldn’t agree more with the previous reviewer. The customer service is atrocious. The women who runs the place is completely rude and when I asked if could try a jacket on she walked away shaking her head. I asked if there was a problem and she said, «no, do whatever you want, try it on.» as she walked away. I told her I would just buy it online. This place has great stuff, but the people absolutely suck. Do not go to this place.

Worst customer service ever-she brought the wrong shoe size out twice then argued with me that this was the right size; although the size was mens she insisted it was for a woman. She had an attitude, rung me up for the wrong pairs, then she did not know how to credit back. I still don’t know if my card was charged twice and I honestly don’t know how they stay in business with the attitude she threw. I’ll pay the $ 3 – 4 more bucks to go elsewhere.
