It can look closed from outside even when it’s open. They have cool stuff: a buuuunch of books, some cards, some toys, some games, and other things. The game selection includes modern ones (generic versions of things like Connect 4, $ 5.99 magnetic travel Snakes and Ladders, backgammon, checkers, etc.) as well as a few traditional wooden craft toys. My favorite old one was the «circle of roosters pecking at seeds» toy.
There were also some matryoshkas as well as a rack of CDs. Do note that the games, books, etc. are in Russian. It seemed like some children’s classes might happen here too; I saw a whiteboard with basic arithmetic written all over it. The 38 Geary stops out front.

Nice store if you need to buy Russian books or Russian stories English version. Good prices and nice service.
