Azure Apartments

My husband and I moved into this apartment from NY on the first day they started leasing.
The location is great, and everything was brand new. However, because everything was brand new, no one really knew what is going on. There are a lot of design flaws in this apartment, like the heater location is right in the center of the main wall, so you can’t have your TV against the wall if you want to also keep warm. There are no doorman or concierge in the building, the leasing office does the packages, but its more like a self serving system (they don’t log packages in or out) They also do not accept packages over 50lbs so you’ll have to figure it out yourself to be home.
I would recommend this apartment, perhaps two or three years later when the services and issues are solved and is more organized.
We do enjoy this area, but will most likely be moving.

Been living at Azure for 2 months now and we really like our neighbors, location and the amenities that Azure has to offer (gym, grills, common area). We knew the apartments across the street were going to be under construction for a while and have gotten somewhat used to the noise during the day but the biggest inconvenience is having the trash collected twice a week (Mondays and Thursdays) at 4 am, 5:30 am and 6:00 a.m. There’s never been a worst way to wake up than by having these trucks flip over huge canisters of garbage right outside of our window. We’ve talked to maintenance and our community manager and, hopefully, will make something happen with the Recology (trash) pick up schedule but they said not to ‘bet on it’ :(We’ll probably be moving once our lease is up.

I’ve been a resident of Azure Apartments for two months now, and my experiences since the beginning have been all positive. My boyfriend and I moved to San Francisco in July were we first stayed at an Airbnb near Union Square, and then had a temporary 1-​month lease in the Mission. Of all the areas, Mission Bay, where Azure is located, felt the safest and was the most quiet at night. I’ve always lived in the suburbs, so I really wanted a quiet and safe area to return to every night after work. This area was just perfect. It’s also located within walking distance to the MUNI, Caltrain, AT&T Park, Safeway, Walgreens, etc. Weather in this area is also very nice. I’ve seen mostly sunny skies so far, although it does get windy occasionally.
Prior to finding Azure, we also toured some of the nearby apartments in this area, but Azure is the newest and at a similar/​better price compared to the others. In addition, our experience at Azure really blew all the others away. Samantha, our consultant, agreed to meeting with us a second time and took us to multiple rooms so we could get a feel for all the locations, floors, floorplans, etc., even though we weren’t 100% committed yet. Prior to our move-​in, she even helped coordinate bringing our new bed frame up to our room because it arrived a few days earlier. Whenever I had questions, my emails would always be responded to promptly. And, during Fleet Week, the staff let me up to the 16^th floor penthouse rooms to take pictures of the Blue Angels from the balcony. The views from up there were awesome! The staff at Azure really go the extra mile to make sure everything is working out and that residents are happy.
And finally, the amenities here are great. There’s garage parking, bike rooms, and storage available (for a fee). The grill, lounge, courtyard, and fitness centers are free. Balconies here are actually decently sized, and we have comfortable patio chairs out there. There’s a mail room for letters and small packages; larger packages are kept in a locked room by the leasing offices. After hours, there’s security that can help get the packages for you, and this is very helpful for most people who are at work during the weekdays and would like to retrieve their things after hours. They also have dollies, and as someone who ordered literally all my furnishings from Amazon, it was so easy to put everything on the cart and push all the boxes to my room.
I’m an extremely satisfied resident of Azure, and I’d urge those who are looking for a new home to come take a look and consider joining our community!

I recently moved into Azure when it opened June 30 with two other friends. Since we just graduated from college and are starting our professional careers, it was important to us to have a nice, convenient, and spacious place to live. Azure is all of those things and more. We recently toured the common space, gym, and courtyard (all of which are opening on July 15) and were blown away. There’s a fire pit in the courtyard, ~three barbecue grills, and a lounging area with outdoor couches. The amenities are great in addition to the apartment itself being fantastic. We like having a balcony, island in the kitchen, dishwasher, upgraded appliances, and our in-​unit washer/​dryer. Ultimately, we feel like Azure is a good value. Elvis in the leasing office was very accommodating when we made our leasing decision (stayed late on a Friday and let us tour multiple units) to help us feel comfortable with our decision and get our lease signed with as little trouble as possible. It’s only been a week, but I am very happy about our decision to live here.
