Elena replied to my request within minutes and refused to charge me for a passport translation I didn’t need, going as far as giving me advice from her personal experience with her USCIS process. Although I ended up not using their services I really appreciate them caring for my best interest.

Really doesn’t get better than this! I needed my birth certificate translated and certified and the process was extremely fast, easy, and all-​around a pleasant experience. When I submitted my birth certificate, I had an estimate in my inbox within half an hour and I found the cost to be reasonable ($ 85 for translation and certification).
The whole process was extremely easy; you upload your document, they email you with a quote, you pay, they translate, and a few days later, you get a PDF file sent to your email address. All of this done online and quite expeditiously! Is there anything better than getting something so important done, without having to leave your house?
In addition, I found Babble-​On to be highly professional overall, in terms of their communication, that they are clearly organized and good at what they do, and that they turned out a very official-​looking document. I was initially a bit hesitant to upload my birth certificate to a company I knew nothing about other than Unilocal reviews, but once they got back to me, I quickly felt assured at the legitimacy and professionalism of the company. In the end, I feel my trust was well-​placed and I would absolutely use them again.

Perfection! I needed my birth certificate translated as my husband needed it for some paperwork he was dealing with (& with legal paperwork you cannot translate it yourself). Had a difficult time finding one locally, and when I did find one they never called me back. So I decided to look on Unilocal.Found this company, sent in my paperwork, got a quote, and made my payment. The translation is perfect/​impeccable, and is defiantly worth the price. I am completely mixed on my feelings about this company — I think it depends entirely on who you get. I used them a year ago to help with the translation of my Spanish residence visa documents and worked with Benjamin. He was AWESOME! He knew we were on a quick turnaround basis, was super accommodating and delivered incredibly professional work. He was a lifesaver.
Fast forward a year and I am looking to renew my Spanish visa — which is a much simpler process. I needed the summary pages of two of my investment account statements translated with a deadline of about 5 days. They had translated virtually identical documents the year prior with zero issues, so I figured it would be a slam dunk. Elena responded and said that they don’t do «legal» work and that I would have to go elsewhere? I pointed her back to the identical statements that they translated last year and asked basically that they update the dates and numbers — nothing «legal» about it? I also said that I really enjoyed working with the team and didn’t want to take my business elsewhere. She reiterated that I needed to find another company and said that, furthermore, there was no way they could accommodate my aggressive timeline. I made one last ditch appeal and asked her if she could check with Benjamin because we had had a good working relationship and I was hopeful we could figure something out. Never got a response.
So, I reluctantly took my business to One Hour Translations, and within 2 hours of upload, I had everything translated perfectly. I really don’t get it. I so wanted to stick with these guys but apparently you need to catch them on the right day…

I have worked with Benjamin since 2008. My documents were as «simple» as German-​French translation of a US birth certificate, French-​English degree translation for immigration purposes, and the most complex of college/​university French to English translation of transcripts and degrees but also providing with an equivalence to US degrees.

as for the $ complaint below, I find it strange… when I needed (a year later) a fresh copy of a birth certificate translated into English, Benjamin just told me he still had the translation on file, and would only charge me for the notary. Even the first class mail was included in the price.
I like to work with dependable suppliers, it is more important to me than trying dirt cheap and unreliable sources.

I asked for a quote for three, 1 page documents, (2 birth certificates and 1 certificate of my parent’s wedding). I emailed the docs.
The price was more than double the competitive bids.
wants $ 255 (includes notary charges).
