Babylon Burning Screen Printing

if you see my last review, i gave it a poor review. mike decided to comment on it which was very sad from him. let it be known what kind of person this carp bag really is.

Babylon Burning Screen Printing saved me from an enormous headache. All around SF, I felt like I was being played with. I felt no trust or raw human connection with the organizations charging me non-​transparent amounts for services I knew would be cheaper if I found the right people.
Then Mike’s positive energy filled my void as I was about to give up and pay substantially more for my non-profit’s t-​shirts. I truly believe any altruistic or philanthropic organization should not have to pay such egregious and non-​transparent amounts of money.
Mike and Babylon never treated me like a client. I was a brother from the moment I walked into the door through the moment I left and every single second in between was hands down one of the best customer experiences I have ever felt.
From my experience, I was transparently explained step by step the cost I would incur for each part I was asking for and the final costs were still significantly less than other screen printers in SF.
The aura of Babylon is extremely unique as it’s oriented in a harmonious vibrational energy; one which makes the soul feel like they are in their own home and not in a business and the employees are key to have made me feel the way I did.
I have never before in my life worked with an organization operated quite like Mike ran Babylon. Mike understands the philosophy of taking care of his employees to create a healthier and happier environment for the community.
Not only does he take care of his employees, but he serves the community by donating money to a fabulous non-​profit. This alone separates him and the rest of Babylon Burning Screen printing from a vast majority of other businesses — let alone screen printers.
Phenomenal team and customer service was through the roof! Thank you Babylon :)

These guys are always professional, always timely, and always affordable. Love their work, and would strongly urge anyone needing screen printing to use them.

What a great experience. Mike, AB, Shaq and Tony (the new guy upstairs) were all one could ask for in a print company. I had a particularly difficult T-​shirt order, a penis draped over the shoulder of the shirt. Many places laughed at my request, but I was dealt with professionally by all of the boys down at Babylon. They were great, I was quoted a fair price and got what I wanted. We all make mistake and have misunderstanding sometime. Mike wrote to me, he thought my review was harsh and he clarifed the mis-​communication. I think it’s all good. We all make mistake and as long we take responsibility and apologize, all should be forgiving. To me writing a negative review is not trying to insult and hurt the other party, it is about letting the other party knows how you feel and hope to effect changes for the better. I’ve deleted the other review since.

I gave them a call to get a price quote — the owner Mike was super friendly. Even though he couldn’t help me out with my product, he gave me a couple places to try to get quotes from. Thanks Mike.

I recently received a soccer jersey in the mail with it’s numbers half peeled off. Instead of haggling with the vendor and sending it back, I thought it might as well see if Babylon could help me out. After reading the reviews and thought if anyone could help me, these guys could.
Walked in, the heat press was already on, and they fixed it right away. No problem and simple. My jersey looks great, and I’ll definitely recommend and use them if I ever need something printed.

I’ve been using Babylon Burning for my screen-​printing needs for over 10 years. Mike has been incredibly kind, generous and supportive of my own projects and he is extremely committed to his employees. He is a huge supporter of local artists and I refer ALL of my clients to him for their screen-​printing needs. Are they the cheapest? Not always. Are they the best? Yep.

We looked at all the different online sources of t-​shirt printing, and finally decided to keep the business local. Mike and his team took care of us at every step, and produced 100 branded t-​shirts for a very reasonable cost. Exceptionally professional, awesome local shop.

My printer that I usually work with, was unable to cure a very thick print through his dryer. With $ 1000 invested in this order, I was concerned they were going to be very cool dust cloths.
My t-​shirt distributor referred me to Mike at Babylon Burning. Without trying to get my business, he offered to fix my issue with their huge gas dryer. Problem fixed and you can bet they have my business!

I found them through a recommendation of a designer who’s never worked with them before – but had them of a short list of screenprinters she would personally work with if the opportunity came up. Mike was beyond awesome in helping me screenprint my save the dates for my own upcoming wedding!
I sent him an inquiry through email and attached the sample artwork, he responded within 24hrs, and let me know I could save a couple $$ if I resized my artwork to fit within their «typical» dimensions. Since I’m a graphic designer – wasn’t a problem!
When we met in person, I let him know that I wanted the one-​color job to print in brown; «espresso brown» if possible. Since Mike knew I was trying to keep costs down, he walked to the back shelves and and pulled paint colors they had on stock from other projects. After opening a few cans, we finally settled on the perfect brown!

These guys are great! I get shirts there for all the events I do.

Worked with Zack to put logos on jerseys for our hockey team. It had complexities, due to pattern seams on the jerseys and the multi-​colored logo.
Zack was thorough in providing options, even as far as researching a logo patch which would end up offloading the order to another vendor. He also cleaned up the artwork for the logo.
We ended up with a screen printed (vs heat-​pressed) logo and they turned out very well and look great.
Highly recommended!

Zack and Mike are awesome! They’ve done several tees for us over the years and we’ve always been happy. They’ve done really complicated color runs for us that I don’t think other shops would be able to do at all.
We’re always happy with what they do, and even happier to support another local business.

Fast, high quality and professional. They were able to accommodate my huge order and short notice without giving me attitude OR a high rush fee. The guys are nice, too.
Parking sucks though so either go right when they open or be prepared to double park in a narrow side street.

Great guys, easy quotes and quick turnaround. I’ve dealt with them in the past with various projects and I’m getting ready to do another big shirt job with them and they are super easy and professional and have lots of bad ass punk rock posters and shirts all over the place.
