I have purchased 2 pairs of boots from Frank and they are amazing. The first pair was before he had his storefront and the second pair was just finished — love both pairs! His quality, craftsmanship, level of care for his clients, and the attention to detail are remarkable; a true artisan and an asset to the community. You will find that he will take the time to fully explain the shoe making process and answer any questions that you have — he truly loves his craft.

Beneduci Shoemakers are both excellent neighbors and master craftsmen. I came to their shop with an odd request: a pair of boots I recently bought had not withstood everyday wear. While explaining it was not their customary practice to repair, Frank said he would help as a favor because they meant something to me and could be salvaged. He invited me to the workshop where he devoted an hour to proposing solutions to repairing and improving the original design of the shoes. He proposed resoling the shoes and adding new shanks.
Hermes would be proud to own these shoes. They look better than new-​with rubber soles, stitching in place of glue, and new shanks.
They are good citizens. They are good shoemakers. They are good Bernal Heights neighbors!

A hidden treasure in this beautifully decorated new store. The first pair of shoes were purchased prior to this store’s opening… when he made them himself only. Frank’s details to the quality of his craftsmanship is well worth the price of a custom made shoe. Frank is the nicest guy and shows pride in the shoes he sells.
He will autograph his custom shoes if asked.
He’s well on his way to become famous and we are glad to have purchased his shoes early in his career.

Of course, not on the spot! Friendly staff that helps you and knows their products. Remember you pay for good quality so don’t think you’re going to get off cheap here but rather you will be buying a heirloom for years to treasure!
