I never thought I would be reviewing a gas station, but this place sucks hardcore. There are other places you can get your gas for cheap without dealing with a rude dude who has a stick shoved up places that don’t shine.
The store was window only, the guy had a bigger attitude problem than I’ve encountered. I work in the service industry; I get it, it sucks. Suck it up and be happy you’re getting a paycheck, unlike some.

About to cross the bridge? Realize that you’re low on gas and there’s gridlock and you might not make it? Want to pay $ 1.20 a gallon more because the owner knows you’re desperate? Then this is your place.
Paid $ 3.79 per gallon for $ 10 worth, so I’d make it across. Stopped in Berkeley 10 minutes later and paid $ 2.59.
One word: Opportunistic.

Bryant shell is just a few blocks from the entrance to the s.f. bridge.
Ya, i bought gas/​diesel here a decade or 2 ago a few times.
Ya, this place has the highest prices in town.
Ya, if i didn’t buy the fuel, my truck/​car wouldn’t have made it across the bridge.

Home of the most expensive gas in SF. A good ten cents or more per gallon than the Shell station a block and a half away on Third Street.
It makes for an amazing study in price differences based on location. The offramp across the street is the last one in SF before you hit the Bay Bridge. My guess would be that a large amount of their clientele is people heading across the Bay Bridge but are almost out of gas. A more sinister explanation is that some folks are scared to drive the streets of West Oakland looking for a station. That’s enough to make up for the people who know the neighborhood avoiding this station like the plague.

3.83 a gallon for regular unleaded. 50 cents more a gallon than the chevron across the street.

If I ever became homeless, I would «work» at this Shell station. Every time I walk by, there’s someone trying to clean people’s windshields, a few people hanging around the cashier, a crack whore on the corner peddling her wares, and even a couple of bums in sleeping bags. Give me your tired, your poor!
And I hate the Dutch.

ATTENTION ALL DRIVERS… CALLING ALL DRIVERS… DO NOT… I REPEAT… DO NOT GO TO THIS GAS STATION AS THEY ARE ONE OF THE MOST EXPENSIVE ONES IN THE CITY!!!
Some of you probably have seen the email that has been in circulation about banning Exxon/Mobil…where the heck are they? I think the better answer is start banning either Shell or Chevron, right? Cuz you see one at every other block!!!
