Delicious burger and great service. So much flavor and the french fries were even better. Try this place out for sure when you are nearby.

I threw up as soon as I got home. I think the meat they use is old. I’ve never thrown up after eating food in my entire life! It was gamey and I couldn’t even finish it. I also ordered it well done! In my opinion, something was off about their meat.

Expensive so-​so burger. Even the Niman-​Ranch meat can’t save it, the bun and goes-​withs are just too Mel’s Drive-​In. I was the only person there and they didn’t even melt the cheese on my burger, it was hard and flaky. The fries are not good — way too big cut means doughy with no flavor, the shake wasn’t creamy enough, the list goes on. It’s just too much money for what you get, if it had been under $ 10 total then I’d give it a 3, but at almost $ 20 it’s not cutting it.

I like the place but second time coming in for take out I didn’t have such a good experience. I always like to get a hello out of people, specially when I’m paying up the butt for a burger. Frankly the McDonald’s on 24^th had friendlier staff, but hey, whatever it’s take out. Last time I went, payed about 35 $ for two burgers and a shake. Being an old diner employee I can tell you that milkshake was mostly just milk. Also, I’m not a big fan of pink, I like my stuff medium well, but upon returning home and taking a few bites, I noticed my burger patty was straight up burnt solid on the sides. I’m not a complainer, if I find a hair or something I just brush it off, but over ten bucks for burger that I thought was made of charcoal? Meh. Not a fan.
On the bright side, I gotta say it’s got a good atmosphere, and the portions are big. It’s pretty good stuff when it’s not overcooked, but it’s the price that gets me. It is after all just a burger, next time I plan on just making some at home my way and save myself the nightmare of finding parking there. Milkshakes are just milk and ice cream anyways too. :/

Outstanding chocolate milkshake. That’s all I’ve tried there but it was incredible very thick and very chocolatey.

Burger Joint is one of my regular stops, has been for many years. The evening of ⁸⁄₂₂ I lost my appetite while listening to and watching the manager? owner? berate and bully the staff. He was particularly hostile and disrespectful to the female employee – just couldn’t stop getting in her face and belittling her. I and the two men I was with were saddened and appalled.

Cashier should get a new job. If only the owner saw how miserable and incompetent she is, she’d be gone for sure.

We often go here because it’s close to our favorite bookstore, Borderlands, and you can get Niman Ranch beef here, and sweet potato fries.
The other reviews pretty much cover it. I want to add that the regular fries are big and have the skins on, which I love. More like «chips» from the UK than French fries. My favorite.

Really great place, great burgers, clean place. The only bad thing is the lady that works here like every day is always in such a bad mood. Her attitude ruins the place.

Really solid place and if you want to feed two for around $ 25, it’s extremely solid. No frills. Just a Neiman beef patty, fresh tomatoes, etc and nice fresh cut fries. I was very pleased!

Actually closes at 9:30pm. Just went in and was told that they had already closed. Too bad:-(

Pretty good burger, awesome fries (if you like steak-​style with skins). Uninspired iced tea, if that matters to you. Asked for medium, got medium-​well, but not really bothered by it.

Burger Joint is a solid, no-​frills place to get a burger. If you’ve been to a diner, you know exactly what’s on the menu: burgers, fries, shakes, all that fun stuff.
The burgers themselves have a lot of salt/​sodium in them and don’t really pack a lot of flavor, but you get a good amount of food for $ 9ish dollars.

Turkey burger was kind of bland. but it is my fault for ordering a turkey burger at the burger joint, I suppose. I smothered it in sugary BBQ and ketchup and hot sauce. The side salad was old and disappointing. My friends liked their philly cheesesteaks and said the regular beef burgers are pretty damn good. Prices are on point for the neighborhood, about $ 10 on average for an entrée. Retro diner vibes.

FOOD COMA after eating their packed, juicy burgers, thickly sliced fries and drinking their strawberry milkshake!
Their burger was SO BOMB — I got grilled onions, added loads of mustard and ate pickles with each bite I took of the burger! Yes, that is my style of eating burgers and I loved how it was all so messy!
I prefer their thickly sliced up fries just because it isn’t as greasy compared to those thin ones!
That strawberry milkshake was so smooth and had bits of actual strawberries meshed into the shake! It really complimented the whole burger and fries as a fulfilling meal!
What a yummy, heavy meal that I knew that I would regret eating during lunch, but I devoured everything anyways!
