Ordered a burger with potato salad. The plate came out and I couldn’t believe what they served me. It was a frozen style burger which was over done, inbetween two slices of bread with no lettuce, tomato etc in sight… And as for the potato salad it tasted like they bought it from Safeway 3 weeks prior. Below average service and very poor food.

Chicken pasta dish was brutal. Few bits of chicken, covered in a cheesy sauce. Wouldn’t feed it to my dog.

Not busy on a Saturday but with only one waitress and it seemed like one cook. I noticed a help wanted sign so maybe they are understaffed. Self seating with menus on each table. Took a while to get my order in. My Cajun sausage really only tasted like any typical hot link. A little too much oil in fact. But the waitress was sweet. I left in the middle of my brunch to put more coins in the parking meter and she understood and was not suspicious of me dine and dashing. I also heard another table exclaiming how good their Mexican food was. I may come back to try something else.

Since Manor closed there hasn’t really been any place to get a good breakfast in WP.(Toast is expensive and not very good. Squat and Gobble chose that name and menu, plus the people they attract, ew.) My mother in law was in town for a week and not being able to ever please her, I don’t try. We needed somewhere to eat and Rain Tree really came through for us. If you only come here for breakfast the food is actually really good! The banana pancakes are delicious.

I go here all the time with my boyfriend and we are never disappointed. We get the same waitress every time and she is a sweetheart. We’ve been helped by other people as well and they were great too, everyone works really hard. The food is exactly what I expect– obviously it’s not gourmet food, but the menu has everything I like and the atmosphere is so comfortable and calm that I just love coming here.

Mediocre omelette but great pancakes. Service was decent. Coffee can be better. Potatoes were dry and lacked in flavor Over all — average

Good food. Mom and Pop dinner. Great service despite being busy and only two servers. The food was delicious as well. Highly recommend.

Small restaurant frequented by the locals. Food is generic breakfast with a few Mexican inspired dishes. I feel the food has gotten better compared to the past. Food service is a little slow. There are only about 4 staff members working(cook, 2 waitress and a dishwasher) this little place. Hubby likes the place for standard diner food and it’s really casual. One unsanitary thing I saw was the waitress used the same towel she wiped the tables with to wife off excess syrup from the pancake syrup dispenser.

Seating is cozy. Service felt a little slow, but they were also busy(Saturday morning rush). Food was alright. I had 2 eggs with potatoes and toast. Not anything outstanding, but good if you’re just trying to grab a bite

Came here for breakfast on a Monday morning. Only 2 tables were taken so I was able to score the table at the window. I ordered the pork chop and egg breakfast — I ordered the eggs over medium and they came out pretty runny and the county potatoes could have used some seasoning. The pork chop that thin but flavorful and the sourdough toast was good. Coffee was good. Service was good. There is nothing special about this place.

I live in this neighbor and I always pass by here so I thought I should give it a try. You have to find your own table to sit down. They don’t greet you either. So You have to find your own way out to sit down(it could be clean or dirty hopefully they get to clean your table) and wait for menu(took them 10mins) and wait another few 10 – 15 to take your orders. Very very slow service. Only one waitress running the hall. Busy or not either way they are slow. But food is pretty fresh and good. Oils are clean. Overall, decent breakfast spot with extremely slow service.

The service here left my boyfriend and I speechless(much like the posts below). First– we walk into the restaurant and were greeted by no one. We are finally seated and the waitress asked what we wanted without even giving us menus. We then ordered a milkshake and no joke, the waitress returned after 10 minutes and said«I just can’t make this right now.» We then ordered our food which looked so unappealing the waitress looked at us both, took the uneaten plates and said«you don’t have to pay for that.» … So we left.

Took my brother here for lunch the day after Christmas and ordered myself an avocado BLT. The menu they have has a great selection of foods to choose from. Crepes, burritos, sandwiches, different sides, etc. Unfortunately the food fell a little short of my expectations. The BLT I had was good(the fries too), but it was nothing amazing. The bacon was a bit too overcooked and crunchy, but I suppose I should have mentioned how I like my bacon cooked. Also my brother didn’t enjoy his burrito very much. I forget what he ordered, but it had shrimp, black beans, rice and some other stuff in it. I didn’t try it myself, but I trust his judgement. Food aside, the service was excellent. Real friendly couple of guys who work here and the food was ready in less than ten minutes.

What is wrong with you guy about this place? Why only one star??? I have been eating here for almost three years… at least once a week. My favorites are the Californian with potato salad and a big glass of orange juice. The food is delicious. The waitresses are super nice and fast. They are very very attentive, and polite saying hi and bye all the time. The were times I sent back the dishes, and the new food has been brought back. They corrected it. What else do you need more… people?

Solid breakfast joint– selection of omelettes, benedicts, and waffles. The food is decent though nothing to write home about. I myself ordered the crab cake Benedict– sub par//egg was poached-over-cooked. Great for a casual out on the town breakfast/brunch. I liked some of the paintings and pieces hanging on the wall; looks like there’s a homey touch.

At first glance this place seems on quaint but after eating here I found myself at a loss for words. The fluidity of walking around inside is a bit difficult. I appreciate the attempt to make things easy as far as open aisles but it just doesn’t work. The inside painting is also BAD. Either there needs to be a new coat of paint or the walls need to have so art. The walls just seem bare. The menu is decent for the style of food being served. More hires would be a GREAT addition as well. The experience here was.

My cousin and I wanted Italian down the street, but the lines were ugly. At this point, we just wanted to have a nice chat over dinner — no fuss, no muss. I think we got lucky here, cuz I was really«sketch.» about this place as my cousin and I were wandering by; on the other hand, it was a crapshoot since neither of us knew of anything else in the neighborhood that we had previously tried. Definitely nondescript-looking, and definitely a breakfast-type place. Since it wasn’t crowded here, and the other places were, I was semi-worried. I went with the least-specialized-food-item-that-is-harder-to-screw-up in the form of a cheeseburger and fries, and my cousin went with the salmon. Surprisingly, they asked me how I wanted the meat cooked, and I took another deep risk and ordered it in my favorite way — «rare» — I said. I was still internally worried, since the place was«sketch» AND I ordered meat«rare». On the other hand, you only live once, and you might as well order it in the way that you want it! I was pleasantly surprised. They cooked it rare and to perfection, and the burger was actually very decent; fries weren’t bad, either. My cousin mentioned that her salmon was OK. The thing that we were laughing hysterically about, though, was that my cousin ordered a glass of white wine. Now, if you saw this place on the outside, and in, you wouldn’t be too sure about ordering wine here. There’s a difference between vintage, or original, versus — just plain old and rinky-dink — which is exactly how the wine tasted. We were lauging hysterically wondering, «what was she thinking… ordering wine from a place that probably bought it in a box!!» I actually say all this lovingly cuz they exceeded my expecations. Since we were the only ones in there, service was actually OK. Décor left a lot to be desired and seemed slightly chintzy. Would I come here again? Prob yes! …to have a burger, but not apt to try anything else — esp because of the reviews here.

We went here for breakfast because the nearby Squat & Gobble had a very long line. It was pretty full but we got a nice table along the wall. Our server promptly brought us coffee and freshly squeezed orange juice. My partner had the Mexican scramble which is filled with bacon, ham and sausage. He liked it pretty well. I had a Belgian waffle which was perfectly cooked — crispy on the outside and soft inside. It was very good although I would have preferred if it came with sliced strawberries and whipped cream rather than syrup. All in all, it was a pretty good, decent breakfast and we might return someday.

It’s not that the food was terrible, it’s just I’ve had so much better. — When I first came in, I stood around for awhile and called out a couple of times to the workers but no one responded, even though it wasn’t busy. — The search for those rare little pieces of avocado in my avocado BLT and Cobb salad was great. — $$$$. It was a $ 12 salad that left me still hungry and still confused as to why there was so little avocado in my salad.
