OMG their Huevos rancheros!!! Not a huge Huevos fan but would NEVER get anything else from this place because they are UNREAL. Have a great back patio and lines are never long. A must go to place if you’re in Cole valley/haight area. Fairly priced too!

This place is great for a cup of coffee or a glass of wine at the end of the day. I’ve been for breakfast twice now, and dinner once. The dinner menu is a bit much for me, trying way to hard to be creative, and the result is mediocre, complicated food. Breakfast menu is much better, but the service is confusing. You order at the coffee counter, you stand and wait for your coffee, you get a number, and they deliver the food. Sounds relatively simple, but no one tells you about it. I would pass on dinner here, but a late glass of wine or early breakfast on Saturday will keep bringing me back. Happy to welcome them to the neighborhood.

The Moroccan turkey kebab sandwich was excellent. The bread was toasted and warm when served. The Moroccan spiced were superb. It’s a generous portion for $ 10.50. A lot of people were ordering pizzas which looked amazing. They are down the street from Zazie and are less crowded but still offer delicious food at a great price.

Yummm! They served me tasty beef kabobs and sitting at the outdoor garden patio was serene and relaxing. A wonderful neighborhood gem :)

Holy fucking shit this place is slow. Ordered a chicken shawarma to go and it took over 30 minutes. Wasn’t even that slammed.

OK coffee, excellent prices for San Francisco. We didn’t eat, so I can’t comment on that. Based on the coffee(two cappuccinos), I wouldn’t be back. There are far too many great coffee shops in this city.

This place looks really fancy from the outside. All big floor to ceiling windows. The latte I ordered was nice. The place is in shade so it’s a nice place to chill.

I have been to this café twice and I must say that both times I have been happy with my order. The cashier was very patient with me and was very nice. I also really liked the speed of the service. I got my bagel sandwich in less than 10 minutes. I liked how this bagel sandwich was not overly greasy and the bagel tasted fresh and toasted to perfection. I will be coming back here the next time I want a bagel breakfast sandwich!

They have outdoor seating at the back which is a plus as it is not that common in SF. Food is good, lots of varieties. Their portions are not«american» but indeed«european» sufficient and not extravagant. Will try again when the weather is good and I can take advantage of the outdoor seating

Café Reverie is a nice little spot in a residential area for brunch. There is seating indoors and in the back with their lovely greenery. Order at the register and they give you a #. Coffee is a take away with you and the food is delivered. They have quite a lot of breakfast options, and it’s a good spot to enjoy the lovely weather(if it’s not raining, or super windy :)) PS: CASHONLY!!! Our cash rep was nice enough to let us order, go to an ATM and come back to pay! ENJOY!

Have to give them a 3 stars given we waited for almost an hour, if not, it’s definitely a 4 stars. Its not a 1 star because of the following reasons: Service 4* — friendly services from entire staff, greeted and engaged when they realized kitchen was backed up. Wish we were informed ahead of time prior to our order. They sort of made it up by offering a free drink and a pastry. It would have been a 1* if they care less for the waiting customers. From observation, they did a good of recovering since most people didn’t make a big thing about it. Quality 4* — live up to the standard that most people recognized. Huevos Ranchero 4* — the combination with this plate is just to my taste. The egg might be overcooked for most people but I love it well done. :) Bacon Scrambles 3* — standard scrambles so not raving satisfy but it’s good. One of the toast was burned a little. Free latte 4* — love when you have a decent latte along with a pattern that comes on top Free orange juice and crossiant Atmosphere 4*- standard café but they have an outdoor back yard which was a nice touch Recommend to try if you are in the neighborhood but make sure they are not backed up in the kitchen. This is the only reason they are a 3 stars vs a 4 stars.

Decided to come back to give Café Reverie another try… I ordered a coffee and lox bagel to go. The lox bagel took 30 minutes. We went up to the counter to check about 25 minutes in to waiting to make sure they hadn’t forgotten us. Nope, hadn’t forgot– still 10 more minutes. This is a bagel to go?! This place has a lot of room for improvement. I am again very disappointed w my experience.

I wanted a cute yet low-profile place to grab a bite with a friend, but I might as well have gone to Andronico’s for picnic food. Yes, their breakfast menu seems sizable, but it’s only for breakfast — no brunch. Well, I guess I’ll pass up my eggs benedict and settle with a… falafel? Wherever that came from, it came wrapped in tin foil. If anything comes in preservative wrappings, I immediately assume its not fresh. No, you can’t microwave tin foil, but you can at least take it off before serving. I left with a disappointed and on my way to second lunch.

Coffee is good here. Lines on the weekends are nuts. Kinda crowded. Cash only, no WiFi, clean your own tables. Porch seating is a good option. Also serves wide range of breakfast that I’ll have to come back and try.

I’ve never had Breakfast/brunch/food here. So if that’s what you’re looking for, please look at other reviews. I usually come here every once in a while and get a nice cup of dripped coffee and work on my laptop. I like how the cups are huge and the coffee is delicious and freshly brewed. The staff are incredibly kind and when it’s not too busy, it’s a great place to get some work done.

Rode the MUNI across town to meet a friend for brunch. Waited in line 15 minutes. Got to the FRONT of the line and we were told that the kitchen staff was AWOL and therefore… there’s no food. You’d think that a restaurant would tell customers before they wait until they’re up front that they have no food. Massive fail. Super annoyed. First and last visit here…

I’m sure everyone comes here because Zazie’s wait is ridiculous. At 10 am, there were maybe 20 tables ahead of us. It’s not a sit down restaurant but that’s what I like about it. You order at the counter then look for a seat inside or in the back patio. The food comes out fast. I got the Swiss Chard Omelette which was firm and pretty good. The vegetables are spread throughout the eggs and not inside like a pocket. I thought the shiitake mushrooms were a nice touch. The baked goods aren’t made in-house and that’s obvious from the boxes and packaging that are in the fridge along with the goods. Even if you see a lot of people in line, there’s a good chance there will still be seating because people come in for a quick coffee and pastry to go.

Decently priced food that comes in good portions. I would recommend getting the dishes with eggs here, whether it be poached or scrambled! The ahi tuna salad was good but not great as there wasn’t a lot of variety in the salad. There is a table both inside and outside but prepare for little leg room if you decide to dine inside.

Excellent little brunch spot, that actually has nothing to be ashamed of facing fancy and always packed Zazie’s!!! We went there on a foggy Saturday morning(10ish) and there was no queue at all. ATMOSPHERE/Very cool, a lot of cute families who you can easily end up talking to, nice waiters and the backyard is just to pretty to be true. FOOD/Shweeeeeeet and tasty af. I had the salmon scrambled eggs special, it came with roasted potatoes and a side of salad. It was very filling and delicious, I would have it everyday if I could. $ 13. Solid coffee too. Definitely worth the try! I’ll be back!

Cute, Cole Valley café that isn’t Peets or Starbucks and actually seems to be independently owned. They serve good coffee, herbal tea, chai, and hot chocolate. They also serve food — eggs and sammys and and pizzas and salads(seared ahi!) and a yummy pastry called The Smore. What makes Reverie particularly special, though, is the secret garden out back. While the inside décor is a little Starbucks-y, the backyard is divine. Their patio is two-tiered, tree and flower-filled, lush, and there are plenty of tables. The cherry on top is that they also serve wine, making this place an incredible find on a breezy Saturday afternoon. Summary: decent coffee, good food, great view. Cash only!
