I called them to get a new gasket glued in my Nemco Steamer and a rude lady told me it round be $ 120 to diagnose the problem and after that if I decide not to go ahead with them they would not even put the appliance back. Also it would take a few days before someone can even look at it and many more days before it can be repaired!!! I m surprised how such a company is still in business.

We dropped off our convection oven on Oct 15^th and have called back every week for the past month to see if it was ready for pick up. Each time someone said the part was on order. I just called and talked to Nancy who said that no part was ordered that they were waiting on approval for the estimate. Talk about lack of communication. I know that I called to approved a month ago but the person I talked to didn’t tell the right person, Nancy. Each and every one of the service techs who told me the part was on order didn’t bother talking to Nancy either. No one talks to anyone else. Beyond frustrating. You’d think that maybe one of the 4 – 5 times I called previously, that someone would have mentioned that they needed another approval.
It’s hard to trust what they tell you. It’s hard to ensure that your job has priority.
If you need something repaired urgently, I would not recommend. If you have all the time in the world to continuously follow up and talk to a lot of different people each of whom is clueless, then this might be your place.

I had a good experience when I needed it most. We called to have Cal West come fix our commercial ice machine, and they got here that afternoon and fixed it quickly.
I’ll be calling them next time I need a fix for anything.

This place SUCKS at calling back (I’ve had the issue 4 – 5 times now). They took forever getting work done, both times, and I could have replaced the mixer for the amount I paid to fix it. They fixed some of the issues, and then different ones pop up — my mixer now pulses when it’s on setting 1 or 2, rather than a regular slow mix. They didn’t call me to ask if the cost to fix my issue was okay, so I could never clear it, and now they’ve sent me a $ 360 bill for the charges? Umm, no.

Although they’re horrible at giving call backs, the staff are very nice and friendly. Depending on your luck the repair could either take a really really long time or be done within a day or two.
