Cameron Bamberger

I’ve worked with Cameron on 4 real estate transactions so far — 3 purchases and one sale — and I hold her advice, taste and perspective in very high regard. She is a consummate professional that takes the time to understand my particular goals and provides the right sort of guidance to make it happen. She is very driven to keep the process on track regardless if it’s a purchase or a sale — I appreciate her candor whether it’s analyzing a place or transaction, and I find her to have the right balance of being measured in her advice and conservative in her approach while being focused on accomplishing the deal at hand. Besides having complete trust in her judgement and advice — I also have a fun time talking through what I want to do — she’s both great and fun and a terrific resource who knows the market very well. Unlike most others in this profession, I found she was not looking for the best deal for her, but rather for the best deal for me. I wouldn’t work with anyone else– San Francisco is a challenging market — I’d say she’s the perfect person to help understand it (yes, I’ve recommended her to several friends over the years).

I cannot begin to say enough wonderful things about Cameron! She responded so promptly and efficiently to an ad we had seen posted about units for sale in SFO; every other real estate agent we reached out to never even bothered replying. Cameron was polite, professional, ALWAYS on time, upbeat (though always straightforward, honest, and realistic), and most importantly, extremely knowledgeable about neighborhoods and buildings. She knew which buildings that, for example, had curb appeal but were in poor neighborhoods or had legal or other problems attached to them. As well, Cameron was equally hard working and dedicated when it came to for us to sell a property in SFO. In fact, given her stellar performance when we first bought, we didn’t even consider using anyone but Cameron when it was time to sell! Use Cameron if you want to have a drama free, totally professional buying or selling experience!

I met Cameron when she (very promptly) answered a question I had posted on Trulia. I continued to ask questions about some various listings in SF and was surprised and delighted with how responsive and fast she was. It was also obvious she knew the SF market very well.
I decided to give Cameron a shot at finding me a studio apartment to purchase in SF. This would be my 9^th real estate transaction in the last several years so I was a little jaded by my past experience with agents who are mostly motivated to do anything it takes to accelerate and close the transaction.
Cameron pleasantly surprised me at several turns during our search and offer period. There were a couple of key junctures where her advice was clearly not going to accelerate the process and were really for my benefit and not hers. Additionally she was very open and candid about her own personal experience owning a condo which proved to be very valuable.
The rank and file real estate agent is in my experience a pretty self-​interested party that I can’t trust 100%. Cameron is cut from different material and I feel fortunate to have found someone who can be an actual adviser vs. a salesperson.

Cameron helped me find my place on Nob Hill and is the perfect agent if you’re looking for an honest, client-​focused and smart person who knows the ins and outs of the SF Real Estate market! She is good at asking all the right questions to understand what your needs are so that she can show you appropriate properties and her direct and knowledgeable style makes you feel well-​represented in a negotiation. I noticed she was always one step ahead of the other agent in the transaction and was such a stickler for important details that it sped up the process in closing the transaction for me. I rely on her for advice when it comes to property in San Francisco and certainly would use her again if I’m in the market again!

Cameron is awesome! She helped me buy my condo in San Francisco recent — at a time where it’s much more of a seller’s market. She’s been in the San Francisco market for ages, and she was very knowledgeable about all the properties I asked her about. Cameron is in synch with her clients and able to close a deal. She helped me get my condo without being the highest bid and Cameron kept me well informed throughout the process. In addition, Cameron was able to get my financing lined up as well. I couldn’t have done this without her.
Cameron is honest, very smart, extremely knowledgeable and a true professional. She goes out of her way to understand exactly what you want and ensures that the property is right for you, and that you’re not overpaying for a property. Cameron is a rare find in the real estate market, and I would highly recommend using Cameron!

Cameron is low-​key, smart, honest, and understands quality. Which is exactly what everyone needs when shopping for the (gulp) largest purchase of your life. I very much appreciated her honesty and eye for detail, since property integrity is not something I can eyeball (yet).
Cameron matched my location & price needs and she actually made it fun. While looking, she was able to sum up places for me based on what I’d told her and my lifestyle. She was very honest about the good and bad of each property (beautiful, doesn’t need any work, but paper thin walls/​floors) which helped because I originally felt overwhelmed by too many choices and would have easily been lured into something that needed too much work (I’m not handy and didn’t want to remodel – though some places were very tempting).
She ran several scenarios which gave me a solid understanding of what I was doing. I never would have found a match without her. Thank you. :) :)

Cameron is awesome! she really walks you through the ins and outs of buying a property, especially for a first time buyer. A lot of real estate agents will sell you whatever they can, to make a commission, but Cameron will make sure you buy the perfect place for all your needs. She really is a gem in the real estate game, very knowledgeable and does not beat around the bush. She knows the city and knows the properties out there, and she keeps it real!

Cameron has been my realtor for 2 home purchases — a condo I bought back in 2004 as well as a 2 unit building a few months ago. She commands a great understanding of the San Francisco real estate market as well as the home buying process. Our most recent purchase was much more complicated than the first and Cameron was able to handle the details extremely well. For me (and I’m assuming a lot of buyers), it took several months of touring homes and researching to understand the market and determine exactly what I was looking for. Cameron guided us in this in a low pressure environment.
